Just got my hawker type rating !
I should do a tutorial. Right now I trying to redo the rolling sounds they're really nice overall but honestly the real jet is so loud , rattly , shaking and rides like a truck barreling down the runway wow ....nothing compared to the relatively quiet real sim at CAE I used. Shockingly the real jet's LVL CH function is as screwy as the carenado one ...it will porpoise and be sloppy and actually enter a dive to chase a higher speed desired... It's awful ....so maybe the Carenado one was good after all but I thought it was poorly designed lol!

Just got my hawker type rating !
I just got my real HS125 type from CAE MMU NJ recently and am now a captain flying the real hawker series 800 ( for now ) but hopefully an 850 in the future - I did use this carenado 850 in my hotel for training etc and impressed other fellow pilots in training with me as well ( shown in a large hotel LCD TV ) ... Good stuff. Peter James

Just the most stunning, beautiful add-on EVER!
In 30 years of simming, being a loyal PMDG customer from the beginning, this 777 is the finest production ever... no words to describe how thrilled I am (laptop flyer by the way - a new Asus 551JK) ... and the sound set is worth more than $90 alone!!! bravo.... can't wait for the 787 (hoping that is the one) Peter James previous Flight Unlimited III Designer Hawker 800 driver in real life

Help missing parts after installing new livery
Great thanks I had set the 777 to be in the default startup situation / Peter James

Help missing parts after installing new livery
The 777 works great but when installing a livery and after selecting that one I wanted the cockpit is dead, and the outside view only shows a body with wings and textures but the gear is gone and the plane is floating !! Why won't the add on liveries work? I just bought it yesterday for FSXSE and like I said it work great on the default pmdg livery

Yaw wallows all around too much
Why does this jet wallow around too much when hand flying like the YD has no effect? Is this true or perhaps it's my joysticks rudder axis having an issue?

Hawker Stunning must see
AMAZING!! you're a real corporate jet painter and I love the clean paints as most corp jets are clean, waxed, polished and wheels freshly detailed as well ! I don't like so many default semi dirty paints ....why is tat so common? Are these available now ?

Keeping ALT menu bar active with mouse pointer = better FR
No I'm in FSX se now

FLCH worked finally for me
Just got FLCH to do a fair job in a step climb, she leveled off etc like it should but all other times it wouldn't do level offs hmmmm?

Reverse thrusters not really effective?
It's nice to see professional aviators that think this dimming hobby is not a game

Posted proper eye views on facebook
I'd be happy to when I get time I'm still at flight safety for few days

Posted proper eye views on facebook
Can't figure how to upload pics using iPad on avsim so I put my ez dok viewpoints as I would see from my eye view in cockpit on the carenado FB page

Not much frame rate different lite vs normal yay
I'm in love with the non lite version with cabin and wing views now and can't see Any frame rate loss!

Keeping ALT menu bar active with mouse pointer = better FR
why is frame rate much higher when keeping in full screen, the alt menu bar when the mouse pointer rests on top of it ? This is the same as the ifly 737 ....about 50% increase here on my rig

Reverse thrusters not really effective?
Thanks for being here ... Quite an aviator !

Reverse thrusters not really effective?
Yes the hawker has " weak " reverses compared to other jets I fly....the beech jet has great TR and we use it as the primary stopping force , the n1 will reverse up to 80% there no braking needed! The falcon 2000 I now fly has powerful reverse again we use it as primary stopping and only ride brakes gently .....in the falcon we get over 70% power in reverse ....so unlike the dc9 I guess we use a lot of reverse in those corporate jets

I just got it. Help is on the way! :) sorta....
I got to try it out last night , very impressed with look and feel of plane, hand flying was great ...sounds were good but the wind sound was far too weak so I replaced that with another wind file I use for all my other jets. Ground rumple rolling sound was perhaps the best most real I have ever heard in an add on but again too faint some edited the values to make it more noticeable like a min of 9000, and max of 18000 volume levels which helped a lot, and of course as in all add ons I have by default the GPWS was files are too loud! I replaced them too with much quieter ones I have lowered the volume on before as well ... I don't understand why developers keep making earth shattering GPWS sounds ...in the real plane they are not defeaning like this ...but easy sound tweaks ...... My ez Dok camera views make for great viewing perspective and the look and feel of the panel and outstanding cockpit glass is wonderful ....more to follow later if I have time but I did a few takeoffs and landing and she felt real enough to me when compared to my 4 flights I had logged in the real hawker 850 last year...so so far quite excited about this Add on for my FSX SE install

I just got it. Help is on the way! :) sorta....
Ill do screenshots of proper viewing angles when I can.... yes, the balls are for alignment... in the plane I fly I actually go a little higher up in the chair ... I like to see over the panel

I just got it. Help is on the way! :) sorta....
I just found all my 850 training manuals in the attic so I can provide real numbers, real data etc to everyone... just be patient a couple of weeks till I can dive into this bird.... but from my viewpoints using EZ dok Camera they did a good job on the virtual cockpit look and feel and pilot's view out the window... I can't stand watching youtube videos on this plane, everyone's point of view is down eyebrow level with the top of the panel as if a 7 year old was flying it! Why does no one use EZ Dok to do views properly, I just don't understand...

I just got it. Help is on the way! :) sorta....
After seeing the 1.2 version was just released today, I just bought it! Installed it... tried the light version on my aging but still good laptop (i7 3.2 - GE force 280M) etc.... and wow!!! Great frame rates as good as default... wooohoooo here I go now... and the sounds... yes yes!! finally I am excited... but sadly have no time to play, off the Flight Safety Level D recurrent sim school the next week.... so can't really play much with the Hawker, but I'll try it and report back as soon as I can! I look forward to this now...

VC in the Hawker
use ezdok to set points to quick zoom and view and then pull out.... in real life, we fly jets and the captain is getting an airspeed call out from the copilot because of the fact we don't have time to glance down really, look at the speed which could be varying up and down and such and on short final we are busy ! So the non-flying pilot calls "ref" plus or minus whatever the number is off our target Vref.... so we don't have to keep moving our head... my face is out the window not down in the panel guys, that's why proper eye point views in vc are so important and sadly usually placed way too low under the panel as seen thru a child's eye.... not a real pilot..... I LOVE EZDOK!
