I cannot get the Show Current Flight information and Loading,Boarding and Ground Control buttons to activate.It just does nothing.Has anyone got any ideas.

The best way to find the active runway at a large airport is to use a free app like Flightradar 24.Key in the airport code and it will show in real time airplanes landing and departing in google earth

Using button control but I think works for Voice control as well .Add path to Prepar3d v3 on all gauge lines in panel.cfg starting FS2Crew2010 .On button control I have 10 entries starting FS2Crew2010.Make a backup of panel.cfg before amending

I use FS Real Time.Its about 10 dollars or so and excellent

And me. Too many negative posts.I would seriously consider a delete of 2.3 and full install of 2.4 if people said that 2.4 is much better.2.3 is working great for me on my modest system

Absolutely .You have to manually defrag if you want to.

I am sorry .I don't have an SSD and understand this should not be defragged.

I am not an expert here but my Prepar3D sits on an external HDD

Some of us with perhaps more modest rigs are plagued by stutters.My situation with v2.3 has been helped incredibly by doing two things.I installed a game booster Game Booster v3.4 from Iorbit..The program has a defrag game option so before firing up prepar I defrag it,Then I launch Game Booster.Try it its free!

I use EFB on a separate laptop to my main tower computer .Its an excellent program and the need for charts pretty much goes away.I fly medium and heavies on Prepar3d v2.3. online with IVAO.For up to date sids and stars I use Navigraph.One cycle only costs about 5 dollars and that will bring any add ons you have up to date.You will probably need to update every 6 months or so.By the way I also use Flight sim commander.That is run via WIDEFS on a very old XP laptop. The best thing I like about EFB is the ground layout at airports.No problems at either end of flying being vectored via taxiways to or from the runway.

Just for the record the leveld763 works almost 100 per cent on prepar3d v 2.3.All I did was to use the migration tool.When I first tried to run it I did get a ctd but on a second reboot it runs fine.The only problem I have is that I have to reset the FMC before taxiing to runway.The fmc doesn't seem to hold all the information after pushback and start up of engines.BTW the exe Im running is LD763-FSX-With-SP2a.exe

For me the affinity mask trick posted by nudata see"Another Affinity Mask (Cores) Trick" has been a revolution.On my very now mediocre system Quad core 2.4 plus GTX 650 I am able to ramp up my slider settings.Using AF 15 and disable CPU 0 and then enable in Task Manager my Prepar3d v2.2 looks terrific. On my system before I shut down I have to lower my settings as I get a CTD when I reload Prepar3D next time.. My frame rates are not amazing but its smooth. I use orbx Global plus Vector plus Rex,Opus weather anf IFly 737.

I only resumed flying again last September and started with P3D v 1.4 and then v2 .No probs with Ivao
