Looking into purchasing the VRInsight MCP Combo II. Only plane in my hanger I'm still looking for compatibility is the iFly 747 v2. Is there support for this plane? Have searched around, but haven't found any definitive answers. Thanks, Gary

For some reason this did not fix my issue. I read that solution on many forums so I tired it and never worked for me. They only thing was uninstalling and reinstalling. Perhaps it was something else deeper in the sim, but everyones case will be different

Yeah I disabled the addonmanager.dll and did a flight in the PMDG 737 from Taxi2Gates KSEA to Taxi2Gates KMCO (no addons using addonmanager and had no issues. I then went and manual uninstalled all addons using the addon manager and then reinstalled and have't had a crash in 2 weeks now. Very strange

I was having big issues with this, starting disabling stuff in the dll and came to find out it was FSDT addon manager, uninstalled all stuff related to that, reinstalled and fixed the issue

As an airline guy let me tell you this is probably one of the most fun thing we can do. It'll give life to a job that can get very mundane day in and out. Ever super senior pilots love a good visual approach clearance. I'm not flying anything as big as a 777 but it's still fun none the less

Are you still using NI with 3.2?

I'm still trying to find the sweet spot too. I'm running an i5 4670k at 4.4GHZ with a 780ti overclocked to 1200MHZ. what do you guys think would be best. Thanks

No issues here. Under my documents I have a P3D v2.5 and P3D v3. Flying v3 for my P3D birds and v2.5 for Captain Sim and QW

I have noticed if I am running P3D in full screen and I undock the Fs2Crew main panel to drag it to my forth monitor, my frames drop from around 30-35 to 6-10.

Eh its a 780ti SC and I overclocked it a little more. It's running a Titan levels. My cards will beat a 970/980 any day, and only loses to a 980ti by marginal amounts. I removed the bufferpools and affinty mask and was able to complete the flight into SFO with .7 GB of VAS free. Granted that didn't include departure from KIAD, but there was 3+ hours of flight on that. And the big thing was my VAS stayed around 2.7 GB until I came into the SFO area. The fact that my VAS wasn't climbing anymore after removing those is promising. More testing to make sure FlightBeam KIAD doesn't have a leak is needed, but I am feeling confident right now

I like to approach issues before they become an issue. I departed with .8 GB of VAS free and less than 2 hours in had .2 GB of VAS free. This is completely opposite of everything that I have read about P3D v3.

Hey guys, I am really stumped here. I think I may have some sort of memory leak in P3D v3 and I can't seem to find what it is. I have search forums and have found other people having some issues, but no really solutions. The only solution I can find for memory not releasing is HT on, but I am running an i5 4670K so HT isn't even an option. As you can see below I run rather modest settings compared to some others who have had no memory issues with P3D v3. I attached my cfg file as well as settings. This flight in question here was KIAD to KSFO. I left KIAD with around .8 GB of VAS left and as the flight went along until around 2 hours in I was only at .2 GB of VAS free. The flight is still ongoing and I am just going to see if it can make it or OOM before i reload the FSUIPC saved flight. I'll update the post then. Any help is appreciated! just make sure they are 1080 not 720 and have a 60 hz refresh rate. 32in tvs for $200-$300 probably won't be and it won't look nearly as nice.

I got it all taken care of. I did a fresh install and tried activating before installing the SPs. The product key in the case still didn't work but for some reason but it came up with an installation ID this time and I was able to call customer support and activate it over the phone. Also I installed FSX in C:/FSX not the C:/Program Files(x86) and I think that helped in out. Anyone having issues Google the PMDG uninstall and reinstall guide on their forums. Helped a ton!

I tried calling again today but for some reason my FSX can not find the Installation ID and therefor they can not help me. I have reinstalled many times and have both SP's installed. Any ideas? Thanks guys

Tried to install FSX on to my new build today and all went smooth until activation time. An invalid error came up and I have tried everything in the book, I've called and they couldn't help, I unchecked the Compatibility box, and I've completely re-installed. I am at a loss of where to go here. Any help would be appreciated!
