  1. Vsync on or off is no difference, it only helps if you have a 30-60hz screen and your fps is above 30 on a 30hz screen or above 60 on a 60hz screen 90% op the time so it will slow down once it hits 30 or 60 fps, otherwise the gpu will just give everything it has to reach that fps.
  2. I would only use official Prepar3d v4 installers. Also this https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/510724-a-word-of-caution-when-updating-add-ons-in-v4/
  3. No everything works fine, you'll have to get the updated files on their forum otherwise you might have some issues.
  4. Can't even compare this to V3, the fact that it is 64 bits was already enough for me to get it. Performance wise, really nice on my system, having everything maxed in world tab and using 8xSSAA, LOD=14.5 and ofc TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=10 since im using a 1080 ti. So far i installed Flytampa EHAM and fps is around 60-65 in default F16, guess ill have to wait till PMDG updates there aircraft for some more stress testing. And ofc Orbx haven't manage to get it installed yet but really looking forward, $200 well spend for me.
  5. No issues either, FT EHAM to LatinVFR Miami, most things to the right except LOD which is default. During taxi @ EHAM it was hovering around 600-800mb, sometimes down to 400 and then back up to 600-800. When decending for Miami i was mostly around 600mb, and landed with about 450 mb ish left, pretty decent traffic and gsx no issues. This all with FTX Global and Vectors rex texture and soft clouds 20 cloud layers @ 4k and PMDG 747 v2 no problem at all considering i was using max AA settings in Nvidia spectre.
  6. Either that or a prepaid creditcard. I use pay2d card and recharge it through ideal.
  7. Just gonna reinstall the game, seems to be the fastest way to solve this.
  8. Well, it's clearly something else since it's still happening even with ActiveSky and ChasePlane disabled.
  9. Deleted the addon airport and tried it on the default one and it was smooth, but like i said it didn't happen every time. Did about 4 landings in total from a quick save and then reinstalled Flytampa's Schiphol, redid the same runway about 5 times using various weights. Seems to be better now for now, hopefully forever.
  10. I'll take the time later to test at more airports to see if i can reproduce it.
  11. Yes, ActiveSky 16 and ChasePlane.
  12. Ive re-uploaded it to youtube maybe that works. But yeah basicly on touchdown when the rear wheels hit the ground a few seconds later there is a weird hiccup and the nose wheel plummets to the ground. Edit: Addons: FTX Global, Vector, Flytampa Amsterdam Schiphol, i have scenery complex on extremely dense as recommended by Orbx
  13. Hi guys, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQBm0cBdPz8 i have seen this problem twice now, any of you who had the same thing happening? I used idle reverse when i heard the wheels touching down, auto-brake lvl 2 and so far i haven't notice it on the other aircrafts since it doesn't happen every time. Just curious to see what can be causing it, thanks.
  14. Been waiting for this, now i can upgrade my GTX 780. I had the impulse to buy a 1080 last month, thank god i didn't!
  15. Allright, no problem. I'll just use a preset with battery on and standbye power off so it still kinda simulates a cold and dark.
  16. No i forgot to mention that turning on the battery doesn't solve it, only when i reload a preset with the battery on. Only happends in the queen atm, the Triple 7 and NGX work fine since the frequency doesn't jump to a different number if i turn the battery off.
  17. After some testing it seems to happen immediately when i turn off the battery even though i disabled those checks.
  18. Thank, didn't even see it in the config. Edit: Sadly this didn't fix the issue. When i load it in and connected it @ EHAM it was stuck on 136,975. I then loaded pmdg default and long state and it went back to the freq that it was showing on the pedestial, when i put it back on cold dark it goes back to 136,975.
  19. Think it's a known problem, they stated somewhere that deleting "SoundDevice=" line in 747QOTSII_Options.ini resolves this as long as you don't change sound devices in the fmc. You can locate it under PMDG > PMDG747QOTSII folder.
  20. Just wanna report this small bug. When you load up the plane in Cold and Dark state, Pilot2ATC stil communicates with it on Standbye frequency but not on the Active one. Also tried changing the freq in the application itself but it refused, in this case i was @ KORD and it was stuck on atis freq 135.40, also tried turning on battery and apu but didn't help either. It works fine in any other startup state.
  21. The first thing that caught my eyes to, dissapointing, hope they bring it back
  22. there is a little bit of a difference compared to the ngx, on the 747 you have to right click the ET needle to the run position, and left click to hold to pause it and left again to reset. Also during this you can also use the Chrono without resetting the other timer
  23. Have you tried to use the mouse joystick to see if that works? If it does then you might have overlooked something while assigning the axis. If it doesn't, make sure the aircraft is set up properly to make sure all ailerons and elevators have hydraulic.
  24. You are usimg the stopwatch function. On the digital clock there are four corners, each with some buttons, press the ET button which is located in the left bottem corner to let the timer start, keep in mind that you won't see the needle moving, to stop it press it again.
