Hi, Not sure to understand you fullly, but the RXP GTN 650 and 750 for P3D are two separate products. And the GTN 650 and 750 for XP are again two separate products. I don't own the Comanche but I think that the RXP GTN 650 and 750 will work correctly. You need to do some manual file editing I believe. It's not like the Bonanza where a "A2A Condigurator" does all the work of integration of the GTN into the virtual cockpit.

Hi, Right now it looks like the RXP server is down? The site is unreachable "Server Not Found" I also get this message when I try to update to v2.5.9 I hope the update does not consist of downloading a F1 wrapper again.

I only own A2A aircrafts: C172: compatible with RXP GNS 430 and 530 C182: compatible with RXP GNS 430 and 530 Bonanza: compatible with RXP GTN 650 and 750, and GNS 430 and 530 When I say compatible, that is for all those aircrafts, there are an A2A configurator that does all the work automatically. So no need to edit files manually. And the GPS work in 3D in the virtual cockpits.

I am not aware of such a list. I'll try to elaborate a bit later.

Sure I understand Jean-Luc and thanks for explaining, sharing and also taking into account performance. If someday crossfill becomes available for GTN 650 and 750, that would be a nice bonus or reward for (good) RXP customers (since they have both GTN).

Hello Franck, What I now understand is that there is one and only Garmin Trainer by Garmin used for all RXP products. Despite crossfill not being available in the Garmin Trainer, RXP achieved to make it happen for the RXP GNSv2. So it should be possible to make it happen for the RXP GTN too?

So the GNS Garmin Trainer do offer crossfill but not the GTN Garmin Trainer?

Hi, The startup screen displays a message "Personal license for... Home use...": that is OK. Ten seconds later another redundant message is displayed: "Software provided for entertainment use only, not intended to be used in a production environment." And we have to click on the message icon to avoid it keep flashing. Is it possible to do something NOT to display that second message? Besides I think that "production environment" is an IT expression. "not intended to be used in the real world" would be clearer for the public?

Oh I see. To be honest the comments you kindly added are rather technical. I am more interested by the functional aspect. For you to be aware of my basic knowleddge on GPS, here is it: - On the aircraft, there is a switch NAV/GPS to connect the HSI or VOR to the NAV radios or GPS (however on the A2A Bonanza, this is a bit different) - To have the autopilot fly a flight plan entered in the GPS, click on "CDI" in the GPS to display "GPS" - To have the autopilot fly on a VOR radial which frequency has been tuned in the GPS, click on "CDI" in the GPS and display "VLOC"' ... and that is my core knowledge. So I am wondering how some of the options in the Config Panel relates to what I said above. And maybe some options allow some functions that I am not aware. Also, maybe that is "general" knowledge is to be sought elsewhere than in your documentation? I'm refering to: - Connect HSI/CRS output - Connect HSI/OBS input - Connect GPS to VOR indicator - Connect CDI Mode to NAV/GPS

I have the RXP GTN 650 and 750 and no problem. I don't have the F1 GTN. I read folks having the F1 GTN and moving to the RXP GTN saying that the RXP has lower impact on the PC.

Regarding the config panel, for a medium level user like me I think that the most important items to explain in the doc is the panel options: - Master Device - Connect GPS to AP - Connect GPS to HSI - Connect HSI/CRS output - Connect HSI/OBS input - Connect GPS to VOR indicator - Connect CDI Mode to NAV/GPS For example, I know what HSI is but don't understand the result of Connect HSI/CRS output or Connect HSI/OBS input.

I posted too http://www.a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=505964#p505964 to support RXP. The RXP GTN 650/750 being supported by the Bonanza is a very positive sign. And the same for the RXP GNS 430/530 on the C172 and C182. Let's hope that the 650/750 will be supported by the C172, C182 and other GA A2A AC in the future.

Happy you would be please to do it, IMHO and from what I observe fppilot deserves it. I don't know this forum software but generally it is an admin who creates member status. Then he assigns a status to a member. Just like for you Jean-Luc: "President, Reality-XP". Sometimes a moderator (you are) can set status too but here on AVSIM I dont think so. So for the whole thing, you would ask Jim Young. Alternatively, and for simplicity, you and ffpilot could agree on a text, for example "RXP MVP" or whatever appropriate, and ffpilot would add it in his signature.

You are most welcome Jean-Luc. Sure I can. What I can say right now, is that I understand most of the words used in the labels. I don't think it is a problem of wording (at least in my particular case), it is about the underlying meaning, how things work... Example: "Connect A to B". I know A and B but I don't understant the result of connecting A to B. Allow me some time to re-read (I'm discovering the config panel) and think and I will give you more feedback and precise examples if needed.

I am kidding (to avoid to put pressure) but at the same time I am serrious. fppilot could be a RXP MVP 🙂 Maybe he is already? Bonjour Jean-Luc, Yes I realize more and more that the GTN is a feature-rich and a complex piece of software. My thoughts on the documentation are: 1) For the real-world functions of the GTN that are replicated in the RXP software, IMHO it is OK to rely on the real-world Garmin documentation. It is extensive, well done and free. So no need to re-invent the wheel. 2) The RXP documentation should focus on: - The usual install, FAQ, Troubleshooting stuff, you know... - Stating clearly what is in the real-world GTN and not simulated in the RXP Software - Stating what is in the real-world GTN and works differently in the RXP Software - Explaining features and functions that are specific to RXP Software or sim-related. On this one, I am aware that the documentation is not always "fun" to write. So the "usable and self-explanatory" approach is OK on condition that it is OK for users to ask for help on forum to start with. That being said, I am not a full beginner but I must confess that I do not understand all options in the configuration panel by only reading the labels.

To be fair and for the record for fellow simmers who read this thread, I ended up buying both the RXP GTN 650 and 750 although it is more expensive than the F1 bundle. And I'm happy. Jean-Luc: I added my voice to support RXP here. I hope that sometimes in the future A2A will support 650/750 in their C172 and C182.
