  1. You mean the GLJ25 by Xtreme Prototypes?
  2. I don't think it's possible. I recall some program changing FSX/P3D parameters on the fly, when the sim is running, but not Frames et Vsync that would require to restart the sim I believe. At least, not during a flight.
  3. Thanks for the review. I have the G530 v1 bought in 2011. Unless I misread, it is unclear to me if I have to re-buy the v2?
  4. Hi, I purchased the 530 in 2011, now I am on P3Dv4. What can I do to install the 530 for P3Dv4?
  5. I have a wireless Xbox controller and confirm what Scott says. Wireless controllers can cause FSX/P3D to mess up assignments if you activate them after launching the sim. I ended up buying a wired Xbox controller.
  6. A quick question: the "normal" procedure would be to set the Autogen draw distance in Options > Graphics > World > Scenery Objects? Does the Level of details radius play a role in this particular case?
  7. Salut Dominique, Je suis en région parisienne. Thanks for the infos regarding FSD team. The site is still online http://www.fsd-international.com/ Thanks also for the attention points regarding the Carenado C337. I'll put my purchase on hold.
  8. Chase Plane Team, In case you have not seen: That says something. Me too, since I have Chase Plane, I no longer use EZdock and TrackIR.
  9. Hi, You might check this thread: Is it worth buy FSLabs A320? You will find many infos and opinions.
  10. I read about the Carenado C337 and I am on the verge to take her. As I understand the aircraft is fully compatible P3Dv4.3? I don't use GPS. Is there an option to remove (or not to display) the GPS on the panel?
  11. Thanks for your feedback John. So you are happy with the Carenado C337?
  12. Bobsk8, DJJose, you are real experts guys. Kudos! No doubt that by reading you everybody will show extreme respect. As the OP, may I ask a moderator to lock this thread. Thanks.
  13. http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/62573-pilatus-pc-6b2-h2-turbo-porter/ Promising but looks like the project is abandoned.
  14. Hello Scott, Thanks. Will check with Aerosoft.
  15. Hi all, In my days on FSX I had the Pilatus PC6 Porter and Cessna 337 Skymaster by http://www.fsd-international.com and found them "different" and interesting to fly. Anybody knows if FSD has plans to port them on P3D? I'm also wondering if Steve Small is still part of FSD and doing the FDE?
  16. DJJose, Bobsk8: sorry I wrote something that did not exactly reflect my thinking. Maybe because I am not a native english speakers I did not understand everything and there were things that were confusing or unclear to me on the 1st page. " So why is it that I apply NO rudder in the A2A and the ball is centered? " I don't know. I did not say that A2A is bad. It was just a neutral question. I admit I have only 20 hours in a real plane vs 200 hours CFI, etc. It is amazing how, with condescendance, you see bad intentions where there is not. OK thanks all, I'm OFF.
  17. Hi all, Many thanks for your overwhelming participation. I fly the A2A C172 and always have autorudder OFF. So it is not clear (yet) to me if the real C172 (maybe there are many models) needs rudder or not in a 30 degree banked turn. I think it does. So why is it that I apply NO rudder in the A2A and the ball is centered? Thanks for the suggestion, I did not think about that. I would rather wait for the DA62 by Vertex.
  18. Hi, After years of carelessness, I decided to re-learn the basics of flying and yesterday I read the chapter "rudder" in Stick and Rudder by Wolfgang Langewiesche. Now I better understand what is adverse yaw and the necessity to use rudder in turns. At this time I'm flying the A2A C172: in a 30 degrees turn, the ball is perfectly centered while I apply NO rudder at all?!?! Normally the ball should be more on the right side indicating that action on rudders is required? I confess that I did not pay too much attention to adverse yaw when I was on FSX or other simulators but I don't recall noticeable adverse yaw whereas in real life I read that instructors insist a lot on the use of rudders to make coordinated turns. Hence my question: is adverse yaw is well modeled in P3D (and other simulators)? Maybe in recent/modern GA aircrafts, the design is better and adverse yaw limited?
  19. Since the 2000's I've never seen XP so "powerful", I mean attracting FSX/P3D users. I'll give it a try when I get a new SSD next year. I heard that default scenery XP is better than FSX/P3D. What about the default planes? Are they good, at least for GA AC (eg the Baron often seen in YouTube videos) or we must go payware to have quality planes?
