  1. I think yes. And before the PTA first start pls delete Shaders_BACKUP dir in PTA dir.
  2. I know only one addon (excl. PTA) which can modify shaders in ShadersHLSL - REX (cloud algorithm). It modifies cloud.fx. I use ASCA last build and pretty sure it can't modify shaders. No ideas about ENVTEX.
  3. Try to restore original shaders into ShadersHLSL and delete Shaders_BACKUP dir in PTA directory. Then start PTA.
  4. But i guess URP1.1. perset works anyway. No, if you get errors, your URP preset is not working properly for sure.
  5. OK. Just before PTA start after P3D client reinstall please check the size of files in <Prepar dir>\ShadersHLSL directory. For Prepar 3.4.22 build 19868 these numbers SHOULD BE EXACLTY (in bytes): Cloud.fx - 21139 GPUTerrain.fx - 50843 GPUTerrain.fxh - 14519 If after fresh installation you have other file sizes, please find the reason, it is not a PTA issue. If numbers match the values above, but you still get red errors in PTA log, please contact me at trifonov.geo@gmail.com.

Maybe it would be better to use the last PTA version. - Make a backup copy of your preset (*.ini file). - Delete the whole dir of PTA. - Un- and reinstall P3D client. - Download last PTA from site and install it as described. - Adjust your preset from scratch. If you send me your PTA 1.3 preset (trifonov.geo@gmail.com) I will help you make new preset in PTA 2.11 with the same adjustments. One exclusion: PTA 1.2-1.3 have old version of Rayleigh scattering tweak. Regards,
  8. James, old versions (1.2, 1.3) of utility can't work with actual version of P3D. What is your P3D version?

Just add a new custom tweak to preset: Here is a ready preset for you: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AiUqW5k9ajA5jOwMoUP7NHLLpMUDeA Adjust 0.7 in new block of "DarkenWater" custom tweak according to your taste. With 0.7 it looks like this (right side): Please note that this tweak works only if Water saturation tweak is active (like in Thopat 1.5 preset). Also you can experiment with "The Water view angle/darkness factor" parameter of "Water surface tuning tweak". (The Water view angle/darkness factor adjustment will allow to reduce/strengthen effect how P3D darkens the water to almost black as soon as you look anywhere near vertically down. If you don't like black water, make this parameter lower. Default P3D value is 4.0.). This is kind of distortion of Thopat preset though..

  11. Hi Tym P3D 3.4.22.19868 here, the tweak works as usual. (Left: diffuse = 1.00 Right = 2.50)
  12. To install preset in to the sim open it with PTA and use "Apply preset" menu command. If you want to use another preset - yes - just open the new one with PTA and apply. No restore function required. To uninstall all presets from sim and return to default shaders use "Restore original P3D shaders" command without applying. Regards,
  13. Hi! How to check only PTA related issues please see here: Also it's quite easy to separate Reshade related issues: just rename any of these files d3d8.dll d3d9.dll dxgi.dll opengl32.dll in your Prepar3D directory. (It will deactivate reshade).

  17. I think changing sky textures may solve this issue, no other suggestions.
  18. Hi! The Haze effect doesn't affect reflections, just add some haze to scene with coloured fog. The color of that additional fog based on fog color provided by sky texture. My suggestion is to try another sky textures. Cheers,
  19. Hi! Realism shader pack (RSP) does not require PTA and can be used separately. But only for P3D ver. 3.2. PTA doesn't require RSP and works with P3D ver. 3.1 - 3.4.   20. Хаюшки, камрад! You're right. To use post-processing you need to keep HDR = on in sim. But "Turn off Prepar3D HDR" checkbox allows you to switch off HDR code if you don't like it. Cheers,
  21. No, PTA contains post-effects shaders converted from Reshade to native P3D rendering pipeline (they added to HDR shader). It doesn't require Reshade (or hacked d3d9.dll / dxgi.dll) at all. So it seems you're using post-processing twice: PTA + Reshade.

Thanks for preset, I've tested it: screenshot with your preset: Then I change DayNightUse for Curves to 0 (effect is active all the time) : And I'm not sure that I understood about Reshade. Are you using Reshade and PTA at the same time and the same post-processing effects?
  23. Each post-processing effect shader has a specific parameter: "DayNightUse". The value of this parameter specifies when post-processing will be active: DayNightUse = 0 - post-processing will work all the time; DayNightUse = 1 - active only at daylight; DayNightUse = 2 - night; DayNightUse = 3 - twilight; DayNightUse = 4 - day and twilight; DayNightUse = 5 - night and twilight
