  1. You are right, i am right now on AIG page and the latest is 0.5.1.1 @Kaiii3 could you let us know which is the difference between 0.6.0.7 and 0.5.1.1 edition of Traffic Controller? thanks
  2. Microsoft Flight Simulator’s Performance Takes Off With The Addition Of NVIDIA DLSS 3 Microsoft Flight Simulator is a stunning, critically-acclaimed flight simulator that marries realistic recreations of popular planes with an accurate map of our planet, and regular free updates add immersive hand-crafted detail to the world’s most visited cities, airports and regions. The 1:1 real-world recreation of our planet in Microsoft Flight Simulator challenges even the most powerful PCs. To help, Asobo Studio and Microsoft are bringing NVIDIA DLSS 3 to the game. DLSS Super Resolution is effective in boosting performance in GPU bound cases by rendering fewer pixels. However, Microsoft Flight Simulator can be CPU bound even on the highest-end CPUs. In this case, DLSS 3’s Optical Multi Frame Generation is able to alleviate CPU bottlenecks and boost FPS by up to 2X by creating entirely new frames that never touch the CPU.

  4. I agree 100%. But its a fact that 1st beta was the best in performance so far with or with out addons, and this is something that Asobo need to know.
  5. Made a test with Fenix in LGAV(FLytampa) and Vram was 12gb on latest beta ( 3090 Asus OC). Will re-check again in different Airport
  6. Yes, that was also my first impression in the beginning, after watching Process Lasso cpu monitor usage while using MSFS, the Main Thread hammering was back even on DX12. Will need to check and test more
  7. Thats why i want to check and test to understand how MSFS works with my cpu etc. this is the famous hammered Main thread situation, based on MSFS official forum majority of users have the same result.
  8. to be clear, i am against tweaks, placebo effects, HT off or on etc. But my mission right now on SU10 and especially on DX12 which is still in beta is to test. with Process Lasso method of HT ON the results on cpu core/threads looks like that: with Process Lasso method of HT OFF , or Hyper Placebo Threading OFF , core usage is like that:
  9. i know HOW to disable HT from Bios. https://bitsum.com/helpie_faq/should-i-disable-smt-hyper-threading/#:~:text=Process Lasso has the capability, are available to target processes. I disabled HT for MSFS not for my whole system.
  10. As i mentioned i am not a fan of HT off etc. I made some test flights last night and indeed DX12 and HT off spreads more "equally" the work to threads. With HT enabled there is always the last core hammered with all limitations. Check attached process lasso preview with rules i described on my previous post. also i really aware the placebo effect, and its not.
  11. I never liked the idea of turning off HT. I just made some tests and looks like DX12 works better with out. I used Fenix A320 with Process Lasso and made some rules for CPU affinity. MSFS took 11900k physical cores ( 0-2-4-6-8-10-12-14) while FenixDisplay.exe the rest of virtual cores ( 1-3-5-7-9-11-13-15) and for the first time i didn't have the Single Main thread hammered. MSFS with HT off spreads more "equally" the process work to Physical cores which i guess DX12 helped also. Sim was much smoother than before even in low-fps. I didn't gain fps but the whole immersion was much smoother even with tod 200 on high demanding airports. I will make more tests as DX12 looks ultra promising
  12. Asobo actually is the first ever professional gaming company that created the best so far modern Weather engine with Multi-layered Volumetric clouds in a Dynamic live weather environment with great performance and less fps impact. And there you see the Skills of development, time and efforts. Some times we need to appreciate what we have so far from this New Modern Flight Simulator and let them work further as its the only Sim which is updating constantly
  13. I am sorry i don't agree. I had 1080ti, and when i changed to 3090 i saw a huge difference. Also how is possible to have everything on ultra with silk/smooth results on every airport with LOD400? Make that in EGLL or KFJK and you will see that your vram is going to be hammered even on DX11. in any case if you are happy with DX11 and your performance, everything is good
  14. here is all info regarding SU10 and AiG: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/aig-live-traffic-and-traffic-controller-ctds-due-to-legacy-file-change-in-su10/529010/89
  15. Did you try DX12? the first main difference is the ground handling/taxi/take off procedure which is much smoother now with out a single micro-stutter etc while panning, zooming etc. Same goes when you land/arrive and taxing on destination airport. I just saw your spec: You have a Beast CPU (5800x3d) with GTX1080? Which means you will be vram limited on DX12 + your cpu is much stronger than you gpu
  16. Add-on linker works with SU10, no issues. Navigraph Navdata center was trying to find content.xml while i was re-installing Airac cycles, but looks like everything is installed and working so far.
  17. I could see the difference between DX11 and DX12 while using Fenix A320. I have the 11900k with adaptive boost at 5.1ghz and temps are much higher with DX12 because is using more cores ( better multithread process).
  18. DX12 works great with windows 10, i just asked if windows 11 is better optimized for dx12.
  19. windows 10 here, should i upgrade to 11 for DX12?
  20. tested so far with SU10: FSRpro : no issues Addons-Linker : no issues Pmdg737: no issues with the latest update , expect display scrolling blurry numbers Fenix A320: i had some overspeed issues + AP disengage and aircraft climbing on higher altitudes than cruise level. Navigraph Navdata center: As already mentioned, needs update ( trying to find content.xml) AIG: I had CTDs. Only solution for now was to remove FAB aircrafts from OCi folder as Kaii mentioned. My test flights so far was only witth DX12 ( no reason to use anymore DX11)
