  1. I was just going to mention this...for me I'm better off with reproduction off. Benefits are that it's a bit smoother, no wobbly screen distortion effect, and my frames go UP 5 to 10fps! Not sure what's going on with WMR reproduction, I drop fps from 35 to 25 and it still stutters badly. In X-Plane it usually will hold a steady 30fps and be very smooth with reproduction.
  2. Yeah, your going to struggle mate. You could turn settings like render scale way down to get minimal required performance but it's going to look bad. I'd hold off until your next upgrade, but why don't you just try it... everyones tolerances and expectations are different.
  3. For WMR headsets, OpenXR comes with WMR. Download OpenXR for developers if you want to use the latest preview runtime (recommended) and adjust settings like motion reproduction and render scale.
  4. I did see that...made I'm missing the obvious but I still can't see how to show fps in VR without steamvr. Tried the opener overlay but it's basically unreadable for me.
  5. So there is no way to show fps in VR without using steamVR? Is there not a WMR app like fpsvr?
  6. I found it quite exceptable with X-Plane. It's a flight Sim not a first-person shooter. But the target should really be to hold 45 fps and use reproduction to take it up to 90
  7. Yep...CV1 is still a good choice for those with small or large IPD. I'd also consider the rift S here if you have anormal IPD
  8. HP Reverb G2 is a great headset if you have a too PC drive it. Valve index is also very good if you have the cash and you like to play alot of non-sim VR games as well where tracking is very important. Quest 2 with PC link is a good all rounder for those on a budget. At the low end of the scale, money and of performance wise, rift s is a good option as long as your IPD is within a normal range.
  9. It doesn't take long before you memorise where all the buttons are.
  10. Thanks for feedback guys. It's great to hear from end users that they are enjoying the web app. I'm just glad to be able to give back to this great community after all the fantastic add-ons and apps I've used over the years.
  11. Hey everyone, just implemented a major piece of functionality which you may find useful. Exported Flight plans are now stored and shared with everyone on the site, which means each POI can contain one or more tours associated with it. For example click on the Canberra (Australia) POI, and you should see a tour around the east coast of Australia. Just one click more on the tour itself and you can import the .pln right into your MSFS. Other changes made are: -Stats page accessible by anyone now available. You can find out what are the most popular points of interests, flight plans and the top users. -There are now 1645 points of interest to explore -An anonymous user (i.e. user not logged in) can now flag a POI if it is inappropriate More changes coming in the future. If you have any suggestion then do let me know. I'll most likely implement them. Happy flying 🙂
  12. Update version 1.2 -added all the new Points of Interest and airports from the new USA update. Currently developing new functionality that will allow use to share and explore other users flight plans Now, back to checking out the new USA update 🙂
  13. Awesome! That's exciting news. And my G2 is coming today. Good times ahead my friend.
  14. I loved that plane. My second favourite flight Sim plane after the Realair lancair legacy. I would love to have these in msfs but I think it's unlikely.
  15. From what I've heard they haven't been given any latitude to fix the longitude 😁
  16. This looks awesome! I'd also like to know how it compares to default...especially after the North American update coming out soon.
  17. Thanks to everybody who have checked this out over the last few days and provided feedback. Over the last few days the community has added 63 new awesome places to explore! Update version 1.1 Based on some user feedback I’ve added some extra functionality to the app: -you can now search for an individual point of interest (see map search input box) -you can now name the flight plan before exporting it. -users who have an account can update the location of their created POIs (before you could only update the name and description) More functionality coming over the next few weeks 🙂
  18. It's a combination of both. There are a lot of POIs added because they are very famous and we'll known. I haven't explored all of them... yet, so I don't know what their MSFS representation is like. There are also a lot of POIs I've added based off user screenshots from the in game MSFS. There is also a rating system, so please rate the good and bad POIs. The ones that get rate the worst I'll probably remove them from the web app. Regardless, long term with what adobo is doing and along with the mod community, most of these locations will be pretty representative of their real world locations...and worth exploring.
  19. A lot of it was from Wikipedia and other forum posts when some talks about a cool location they have been to and then entering it in manually
