Getting ready to do the same thing and want to clarify what your saying...are you saying to right click on the "LocalCache" folder, save it somewhere safe...and then put that into the new computer's "AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe" folder...replacing the one generated by the new loading of the sim? Thanks Dave, Yes...I had those 3 unchecked and had the Force Pilot Runway Selection CHECKED...but no joy. You commented about a runway and a SID...the issue was not a departure...but was an arrival. I was VFR and had set up an approach to a specific runway with vectors to the IP. I then clicked "Set Rwy" and clicked "Load"...which it did load into the flight plan. But when I was handed off to Approach Control, I got a different runway and a different approach...actually no approach...just to report downwind. Thanks, Garry

Hi Dave, I occasionally experience a situation on approach where I have set, loaded and saved an approach into my P2ATC flight plan (running 2.6.3.1 on a Win 10 PC in MSFS) yet approach control gives me a completely different runway and approach. On my most recent flight (and this has happened on other flights) I then asked approach for the approach and runway I had saved in the program...at that point everything went silent. The program was showing my verbal request but no response. I also tried Sayit...nothing. Then tried tower and ground...everything was silent with no responses. Any ideas? Thanks, Garry

Okay...found it. Problem was I was doing the search in my C drive, but I have my Official folder and my Community folder on a different drive. When I saw it was in the Official folder I knew where to go. Now that I know where all these are at it seems we could put our own screen shots in...may have to try that. Thanks, Garry

Hi deepstar, Did a search for the above and nothing comes up in my system. I have the MS Store versions of MSFS2020 and not sure if your reference is for the same. Can you, or someone, give me some more information where this might be located. Thanks, Garry

Hi Dai, Thank you for this. Sorry to be so dense...but I'm not quite sure I understand the installation instructions. You say: "You don't need to clean out any files from either sim ('Delete Generated Files') shortcut but you will need to uninstall the current version and reboot if requested to do so." I haven't done the update yet so maybe my confusion would be answered if I did...but as of now my confusion is "You don't need to clean out any files..." but then you say "Delete Generated Files"...that seems contradictory. Also, after saying I don't need to delete any files you say "...will need to uninstall the current version...". Also what does the reference to the "shortcut" mean. So am I correct in that I will need to uninstall the current version and then load the updated version? And, after that there will be some "Generated Files" from that install that I will need to delete? Thanks, Garry

I can also confirm that the shell command works...however, I use the Fast Launch feature to launch MSFS and can't figure out a way to access it in your app....any ideas? Garry

Yes...aware of the issues with MSFS...but my post was not concerned who was at fault. Just that I would like to have P2A be able to link up and use the same weather as MSFS. Would like the "SIM Weather" option for MSFS like it currently has for X-Plane. Sorry I was not clear on my post. Garry

Been flying in New Zealand and using NOOA weather in P2A...but most of the time is not the same (often not even close) as what is in MSFS. I just downloaded the 2.6.1.3 version but don't see any way to link the weather to MSFS2020. Hopefully this will be available in the near future. Thanks, Garry

Trying to fly the old Panagra route from SABE to SCTI...but P2ATC does not recognize SCTI. SCTI is a P3D v4 airport...not an addon. Looked in the manual for adding airports and on the forum, pages but didn't find anything about adding airports for P3D. Anyway I can get SCTI into the database? Thanks, Garry Lundberg

I am playing them through P2A. However, I just bought the X-ATC_Chatter application and loaded their files into P2A as Controllers per instructions...now the Radio Panel Volume controls, in P2A, work as they should...go figure. Thanks anyway. Garry

Thanks Dave, Sorry...should have been more clear. I did try the Radio Panel Volume control when I clicked the Standby Com frequency in the bottom left of the main screen...but it has no effect. I tried both Volume Up and Down but it changes nothing. It appears when I did the most recent update last night somehow the P2A to provide the ATIS got un-checked. Checked it and now works correctly.
