    I bought it and installed it to try it out. I wanted to support them in their development. It was fun in VR for about 15 minutes. The flight model of the Cessna was not good and down low the terrain looks bad. I uninstalled it but I am going to keep an eye on it. I hope they continue to develop it.

    I am not surprised by this. I talked to him a year or more ago about doing some work with their team. The documents that were sent to me led me to believe that the project would never get past the planning stages so I declined. Its one thing to have a big dream but its a totally different thing to make it come true. I wish him all the luck in the future.

    That is good to hear. I have been flying v3 with FI for some time but didn't like the limited support that V3 had for VR. I thought it looked terrible not to mention that not much was clickable. I am glad to hear that you think it is sharper than FI.

    I would suggest posting this on Orbx's website. You will probably get a better answer there.

    Take a look at PilotEdge. It is as real as it gets. The only drawback is that it covers the SoCal area only but you will find every type of available airspace in that area. They do it by the book and you will learn a ton.

    Tried this last night and I am very impressed. It really adds to the realism of the sim. I am on W10 and had no problems with the install or P3D and I didn't see any performance hit at all. Nice job!

    I am a RW pilot and you won't get much more realistic sim training than PE. They are all professionals who do it by the book. The audio doesn't have the same noise you hear a lot of times in a headset but that is very minor compared to the tremendous training you receive.

    I bet the average GA flight is less than 1 hour.

    The antennas are used to connect the client PC to the wireless router. They should play no role in the internet bandwidth but remember you are only as fast as your slowest connection so if you are 10m to the router and 20m from the router to the internet then your connection from your PC to the internet will be 10m.
