  1. Hi Dave, Sorry to resurrect an old post, but I'd like to know if there is anything I can do to bring this feature to the software? I absolutely love the software, but I'm put off by the solely American phrasing. I'm a developer myself, so if there is anything that I can do to lend a hand then I'd be happy to do so! Phill Morgan
  2. I thought so, I wont hold my breath, but perhaps in the future PMDG will add a secondary sound output to enhance the realism. Does it already use its own custom sound engine?
  3. Ok, many thanks for the info, if I ever feel the need I'll have to make the switch to one of the builders platforms instead.
  4. I do not have any personal experience, but how else would the pilot flying hear warnings if using a headset?
  5. Hi, In the real B738, I know that many sounds such as navigation aids, TCAS warnings, GWPS warnings & call outs are audible through the pilot headsets and/or the speaker of the aircraft. Is there any way of getting those warnings and callouts through the headset, whilst keeping all other sounds such as engines etc, on the main speakers? I don't mind getting hold of additional software or hardware to achieve this if I need to, I just don't know where to start. I have found ProSim737 and SimAvionics which will do the job, but I do not want to move away from PMDG as I am not ready to dive in to building a flight deck! Any help would be greatly appreciated. 6. Hi Again Dave, I turns out it was my fault. I did not update to the latest version. After updating to the current release and loading 1707 rev1 everything started working again. Many Thanks for great support!
  7. As a follow on from this, when clicking Info for ENVA in the main interface, I can see the ground frequency as per AIRAC, but as said before, P2A will not allow me to contact it, it just displays ----- under the frequency :( I can also confirm that not every airport is affected in this way. For example ENGM DOES have ground frequencies available in the main interface, that do respond. It looks like 50% of my airports are not working.
  8. Hi I am having issues with frequency assignments from P2A. I am currently using AIRAC 1707 Rev1 from Navigraph as I understand there are issues with newer releases containing extra info that P2A is not ready for, so I have rolled it back. At ENVA, the P2A main interfaces shows: ENVA App: 118.60 ENVA App: 119.15 (This is not APP, it should be DIR) ENVA ATIS: 127.55 ENVA Twr: 119.40 ENVA Twr: 122.10 ENVA Twr: 133.75 Using the second approach frequency I can get IFR clearance, and the program issues the correct AIRAC ground frequency which is 121.60, however as you can see, P2A doesn't register the 121.6 in the main interface, and when tuned, the frequency does nothing, so I cannot get push or taxi clearance. If I tuned one of the tower frequencies, they redirected me to 121.6, again which is correct, but still doesn't work. So P2A is assigning the correct frequency according to AIRAC, but at the same time, is not aware that a ground frequency exists! This also occurred at the destination ENBR, when tower handed me to ground after landing. Any ideas?
  9. I have no doubt about that, good to know it has been considered :) Thanks Dave
  10. Hi I have noticed that the Phraseology used in P2ATC is "American". Much of the Phraseology used in the program is very different over here in Europe. Is it possible to adjust the Phraseology to better match European ATC? Phill Morgan
  11. Whilst a sound business move, I would say that the two products are in totally different categories. This is the only product of its type, made to such a high standard. I don't see your sales being affected in the long term as you already have a dedicated user base that will return to you on release :) But I understand why you would be deterred :)
  12. I'm a new user having just switched from x-plane to p3dv4, but I am so excited to get my hands on this product! It looks fantastic!
  13. Thank you for the lesson, however I do understand what they are. What I do not understand is why the actual is so low. The question was, "Is this a bug, or is there something I could be doing wrong?" What would cause the issue? Edit: Sorry I miss-read what you were saying. Thank you!
  14. Thanks Fishermanlvan, you are correct, what I do not understand is why my Actual is so low, as far as I am aware, I have performed all of the alignment and startup procedures correctly, but I just cannot get the required performance from the 737.
  15. Hi, I wonder if someone can help me. I have been using the 737NG and have just noticed something very strange. The RNP displayed is 2.00 but my ANP is always between 0.06 and 0.05. Does anyone know what would cause the to happen? I am using P3D v4, the 737 is a clean install and has up to date Nav data from Navigraph. As far as I am aware, I have aligned the IRS's correctly but no matter what I do, I always get the same result. Is this a bug, or is there something I could be doing wrong? Many thanks Phill Morgan
  16. For anyone that come across this post in the future, the issue was a combo of TeamViewer 12 and ProcessLasso both running. After turning BOTH of them off, the problem disappeared.
  17. Hi, I am experiencing jumpy/stuttering camera movements. They appear to hit a regular "clock tick" intervals. So every 1 second of so, the camera appears to stop and then immediately start moving again. This happens when using the middle mouse look, and when switching between presets. Has anyone else had an issue similar to this? I searched the forum but couldn't find anything about this kind of problem. I do not think it is FPS related as it happens at all performance levels. I am using the PMDG 737 in P3D v4 Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.
  18. Oh its no big deal, and yes you're right it does read that way once you understand the point in the topic is to be updated. Just a bit confusing if you're new :-)
  19. It says [23JUN17]. One would assume therefor that its old information, and any topic posted after that time would supersede the old topic. This is why I suggest that product updates should be put into stickies for each product, then there is only one place to look for the latest info. Instead there is that topic, the on labeled [04JUL17], not to mention the many user posts about it! All I am saying is putting [23JUN17] on a topic, and then making another one with [04JUL17] which contains info about the NGX in it, is a little misleading. It could be done better.
  20. How annoying! Why update a post with new information but include an old date in the title. Very misleading to new forum members. Perhaps if they want to remain consistent and keep everyone updated properly, they should have made a dedicated sticky topic for each product rather than mashing info together into multiple topics. Just my opinion.
  21. Where did you see that? Last I knew it was 30th June to the 10th July?
  22. 50/50 on that one! Sometimes no news is just no news :D
  23. In fairness, that is the information they gave in the 4th July Topic about the 777. "More information after the holiday". Well, where is the info? it worries people when companies don't keep to their own advice. Phill Morgan
