  1. @GEKtheReaper I’ve had it solved brother! It may have had something to do with Microsoft C++ as well. Thank you
  2. ive installed the addon manager already -- go back and do it again?
  3. Hi All, I've had a successful fresh install of Windows 10 and P3Dv4.3. I haven't poured addons into this yet - simply working with: ASv4 FTX NA ENVTEX/SHADE AS AIRBUS PRO I disabled Antivirus, ran Addon Manger install as Admin. Ran GSX install as Admin. Ran FSDT Update as Admin. And for some reason, GSX nor the Addon Manager will show in the "Add-ons" drop down or respond to the default menu call (ctrl + F12) Any ideas?
  4. @FalconAF I appreciate the response my friend. Although I understand where you’re coming from, I believe your statements may be a bit misdirected — at least within the realms of this thread. The reason being: 1. I agree with your point about developers having a small team that must continually update products, but that hasn’t stopped them has it? They make airliners, GA, sceneries etc. but not Biz Jets. 2. Similar to the above, developers (no matter the scale of the team), take on the task of creating P3D products like airliners, turboprops, single-engines that must continuously be updated. Yet, Biz Jets don’t get the same attention. Open to any feedback about the above
  5. I know gulfstream has strict lincensing but that can’t be the case for the other 90% of the bizjet community. could you imagine if one of the revered airliner developers gave a go at a private jet? How fun would that be. I bet loads of people would buy it for the sheer fact that their hangar lacks that equipment. also, who doesn’t like a nice private jet??
  6. I’ve seen those projects as well. Just haven’t heard a thing from them as of late. If anyone had insight on these developments, please share.
  7. The title says it all, really. I’m curious - as a platform (P3D) for both enthusiasts and trainees, why would the market lack business jets as much as it does? Short of Carenado, there are almost no (quality) business jets (I’m aware of the Lear’s). And there are even fewer mid/heavy biz jets that can go the distance. Obviously ‘supply and demand’ is an easy answer to this question, but I can’t be the only one who wants quality biz jets? With the ease to make your own routes and link unusual but interesting cities together without being unrealistic, surely this appeals to others? why do developers shy away from biz jets in p3d? Demand? Trademark issues? let me know your thoughts
  8. @byork quickly following-up -- what's the best way to follow development? Will there be a new thread? Thank you!
  9. This is epic news. What’s the best way to follow development? Will an official thread be created? thank you! Excited for it.
  10. The A320 at night (w/ Dynamic Lighting) really cripples my performance. PMDG v FSL for daily operations are comparable, but I’d give a slight advantage to PMDG. I would be careful with assuming the FSLA320 will run the exact same as the PMDG 777, but it will be close.
  11. I’m having trouble putting the GTN package into the Xp Learjet - I would like to have it for the hawker too - but are you using P3D 4.2? @kenthom @raymie
  12. What’s the benefit of this over FS2Crew? If they’re both crew simulation, FS2Crew looks to be years ahead.
  13. I'm stoked that they have this now for Vatsim, but I can't figure out how to install What folder am I pointing the installation/update to?
  14. Why does my FPS increase exponentially when minimizing my screen? For example, when P3D is in full screen I have a hard time getting good frame rates. But as I minimize the screen incrementally, my FPS increases.
  15. @Shant Kahwajian I have a similar set up, but a 55” 4K display which is much more GPU intensive. I can maintain typically 30 FPS. But yes, 30hz and vsync/unlimited frames are mandatory.
  16. I’m afraid I’m not sure what that could be :/ it would be nice if the Maddog team could chime-in! Unfortunately this aircraft is living a similar lifecycle as my FSL A320 — excitement upfront. Great idea. But too many issues. Both the MD80 and FSL A320 are collecting dust due to the ongoing issues for me. hope to see a new update soon!
  17. Is it possible that it could be the APU/APU Gen turning on, and ‘pulse’ it’s self to life as it transfers from engine gen>>apu gen?
  18. @DaveCT2003 thanks for the tip regarding fuel heat. I'm having a similar issue as well, but in my scenario my fuel control valves will shut to cut off? I have FS2crew - not sure if that would cause anything.
  19. @panselmo @skipy33 Are Fuel Control levers cutting off at this time as well?
  20. @panselmo follow @SaenchaySor directions above, for some reason it seems to have helped my issue. Not sure exactly which suggestion helped though. @SaenchaySor Sometimes my engine parameter does flash on take off - what does that mean? What can I do to prevent?
  21. @pedrotrindade @panselmo Pedro, I use Saitek throttles and indeed, my Mixture lever is actually my Right Engine throttle. are you saying that you do NOT assign this lever to engines? If so, how do you control both engines separately? its funny, because I have every single study level sim on the market, and no other product gives me issues with engine spikes... interesting. - Harvey
  22. @PhilippS1234 @SaenchaySor @pedrotrindade Im not sure exactly what fixed the random shutdown. But I did a test flight last night with no issues. Will continue to monitor. Thank you for the suggestions!
  23. @PhilippS1234 @SaenchaySor @pedrotrindade Thanks fellas. Will advise when I get to my PC tonight. Appreciate the input!
  24. Hi Panselmo, I believe i'm having the same issue. Are you using FS2CREW by chance? Best, Harvey
  25. Hey Team, First, I want to say that this is my first Leonardo product, and it's truly magnificent. Well made, indeed! I do have a question for you all; why will my engines/electrical system cut out suddenly? The engine (which, I believe triggers the electrical cut out) will occur after engine start up, and/or immediately after take off. My initial flight was a success (with no eng/elec issues), but for every flight since, i've had my Eng shut down randomly either after push and start, or take off. Knowing that i've completed one flight successfully makes me think it's user error. What system/procedure could i be ignoring that allows this shutdown to happen? I'm following the checklists to a T (I hope), and the only thing I can point to is to FS2CREW and some of the commands I give them. I think it has to do with the APU gen or something. Any insight would be appreciated!
