This turned into a garbage thread. IMO it really doesn’t help the original author out. Surprised the moderators have let it continue this long. Must be a slow day.

It appears MS/ASOBO have been improving weather and default ATC in the background. Today storms in my area (PA, KAGC, KJST) were fairly accurate, to include lightning (which I haven’t seen for some time now). Also noticing some differences in ATC. Perhaps preparing for SU16.

This is for Reset XPDR. I have downloaded and used each version of MSFS AutoFPS. Currently on version 4.4.2. Recently, when I click on the exe file that I downloaded , windbg opens up and that’s all the further things go. I make sure that I shut down 4.4.2 before going to 4.4.4 exe. Any idea what may be the issue?

First of all, “Wishing all a Happy and Prosperous New Year.” What happened with the Sayintentions.ai video being removed from this thread? Did they scrap it because the overall response here goes against their subscription proposal? Also, for my two cents worth, seems like someone just wants to be first to provide a better, enhanced, ATC program. Perhaps to cash in on something new, before someone else does. I realize someone has to be first, but you never heard of this product until Beyond ATC was announced and showing progress towards release. Yet I WILL NOT entertain a subscription for Beyond ATC either, at least they seem to be willing to provide an alternative. There are others that have been available for quite some time now, pay once and it’s yours. Everyone has their choice of course. For now, I’ll settle for MSFS ATC, and I don’t plan to purchase anything that involves a subscription plan, not even MSFS. I started in this hobby having an interest in aviation, got my PPL, and continued in this hobby because frankly it was getting too expensive to continue to fly. Like many in this hobby, I’m a part of the retired and living on a fixed income group. Not ashamed of that either, I worked hard to reach this point. Take care ALL!

It’s like cell phone companies used to do. You paid a specified rate for a plan that fit your needs, that put you at a data cap. If you exceed the data cap, you had to pay X number of dollars for an extra Gig of data. (At the time, I believe it was $10.00 per Gig) Now they just sell unlimited data plans etc , etc. If this ATC program is going to be as good as is claimed, then they should be sitting down with ASOBO/ MICROSOFT. If it basically is pretty much a finished product sell it to them and be retained to maintain, update and improve the product under contract for the amount of time ASOBO/MICROSFT plan on supporting flight simulator. Seems like that would get the “ATC” monkey off ASOBO/MICROSOFT’S back. Just a thought, that’s all.
