No, its got issues too, one being that the Avionics switches don't work if you bind the Set Avionics Master 1 and 2 to the honeycomb yolk.

What amuses me is people complaining about the new binding feature as if its so much worse than the 2020 version. Frankly both are poor compared to the system employed in XP11/12 in my opinion. That said I don't mind the new binding system, its different but it works ok as far as I can tell.

ok a bug but you can unbind by clicking the gear icon on the right then deleting the binding.

Its five days after launch! I suspect it will take a couple of weeks of careful monitoring for them to get the server balance right.

All I can say is that this thread has been posted by a guy who lives in the same area of the world as me and must be getting the same data from the exact same source servers as I am. I have been in and out of the sim at least a dozen times over the last 24 hours with no issues at all, just setting up my controllers and getting my gear working reasonably well. I took off for the first time from EGGD this morning, flew over Avonmouth, on towards the Severn bridges, (love the dirty water in the estuary) looped back over Bristol and on towards the lake before turning right and landing back at EGGD. It was a great flight, no stutter, no blurred textures and some impressive PG around the docks. The only problem I had was scenery assets at the flight school popping in and out when I was parking up, not sure what that was but no doubt in time it will be sorted out. Yesterday I used the drone and flew around the lake district to see if my tree mod scenery works (it doesn't as it happens) but again no issues at all, no stutter, no blurred textures and some impressive changes to the quality of the fells and rock formations. With a solid reliable broadband connection it works well. The sims been out 5 short days, disappointment at this stage? Not for me, its about what I expected and the potential is clearly there.

My personal approach is to just wait a while until the servers catch up and things settle down. I bought the Premium Deluxe version so spent a decent amount on the sim including a new rig to run it but its not the end of the world if I can't use it for another few days, I waited a while for it anyway, a bit more time won't hurt. They will get there.

I left the MS forums over a year ago after being "told off" for daring to say that somebody who was complaining about the newly introduced turbulence had nothing of value to offer to the discussion in terms of a comparison to the real world because he wasn't a real world pilot. I also said my opinion had no value for the same reason, none the less my post was hidden and when I complained things escalated until a petty minded moderator stripped me of my trust level. I asked in private what was inaccurate about what I said and the response was that I was saying the individual had no value which was was nonsense, I said nothing of the sort. As Marcus Aurelius said, The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject. I left and asked them to suspend the account. I have no time for OTT moderation and a forum where conversation is stifled. I have not even been on this forum for a year either having been down the Home Assistant rabbit hole for twelve months and having only just found my way back to the surface. I have a look at the MS Forum from time to time and what is apparent is that people, with the exception of Hobanagerik who seems to be able to stick with it, I don't recognise any of the usernames any more, suggesting that people come and go from it with alarming regularity.

Personally I dont see what the fuss is all about. Gaist will host on whatever service the developer approves of and we can download from whichever one that is. Many of us are already downloading from a whole host of different sites anyway, Flightsim.to isnt the be all and end all.

I only use Marketplace when I am looking to cash in points, otherwise I dont bother. Its not just the encryption that's an issue, its the VERY long wait for updates too.

That looks good but in Northern Ireland I found Bijans trees placed Pine everywhere where deciduous should be. Also, his product tends to add trees to places where they have no business being. I had to create an exclude for example for the Colosseum in Rome because Bijans product placed trees within the confines of the structure and on some of Romes streets too. People's millage varies of course but for me the pros were beginning to fall whilst the cons climbed.
