Navigraph survey results
Those are very impressive numbers for MSFS! I don't think the 2024 are bad at all, especially given the demographic of those taking this survey. I reckon "hardcore" simmers are more prone to prefer specific planes which are not yet ready for 2024 or have other stronger opinions to wait switching over fully. If you add the casual players, those numbers would look much different.

Who are these pilots MS hired to test during development?
Whoever they are, they did a great job, because the flight/ground model is much improved in 2024! As for bugs, that wouldn't be the primary scope for those testers and secondly it's much more complex than just saying "they need to test better"

Petition for MS2024 to be offline as well
I had no issues whatsoever after the first day, performance is much better than in 2020 and loading times are shorter. There's no way they will go back to some old architecture at this stage and I don't see any reasons why either.

MSFS2024 Performance - your thoughts?
Performance wasn't by any means bad in MSFS, but it's much improved in 2024. Need to test some specific scenarios (such as landing at JFK, but very impressed so far!

MSFS 2024 feature/improvement summary (updated June 2024) - Discussion Hub / MSFS 2024 - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums I'm blown away with the scope of the new sim, the improvements will be huge, ranging from the core sim, to the world, with major stuff as new physics, aerodynamic and lightning engines!

Navigraph survey undercounted MSFS market, possibly by a lot
Why would they do that when MSFS is their biggest customer group? They cannot force people to do the survey..
