  1. I disagree, if implemented well, parallax windows is a great solution, especially for things like side buildings, hotels, offices and to some degree terminals which don't have interior's. Nothing beats a proper interior modelling of course, even "shallow" interior's are better for less important buildings, but to me parallax is a good solution instead of opaque windows. For me opaque windows is a dated approach that is an immersion killer, even worse at night! But sure, like everything else, you can implement parallax in a poor way and then it doesn't look great. From top of my head, Roman Design used parallax really well in his Ottawa airport, but lot of others who do it well too!
  2. I will switch to 2024 right away, though no new release is without issues, so we we will see how the servers etc will hold up to the extreme pressure! Very excited about 2024!
  3. Their Islander and Trislander are the planes I've used most, love the "feeling", great sounds etc. So really looking forward to fly the Shorts this weekend!
  4. Licensing usually includes review/feedback on the final product before the licensing agreement can be fully finalized. It can vary quite a lot, sometimes they will have a lot of feedback, down to nitpicking, other times it's easier and they just do a quick review and that's it.
  5. How is that a relevant question? A Russian company to sign contracts with the military and government? Same company who even had an employee trying to steal information and provide it to Russia? There is a very obvious reason why, even if they wanted to..
  6. I definitely get that and appreciate it myself, vintage aircrafts are really cool and in those cases I prefer them with the original setups...but for me the TBM represents a modern aircraft, so I would rather see a 960 instead, as it's a plane where the glass cockpit really feels right. With that said, fair enough if people want this 🙂
  7. This plane looks awesome, while I prefer Fokkers turboprops, this one is definitely interesting!
  8. Could been the Dune DLC, but they announced it earlier than initially planned?
  9. It's obviously illegal, but each to their own. I saw a comparison and in some parts Google is better, in others Bing. Given the legal issues and that you also lose the touches they add by hand in "native" MSFS and third-party airports adapting to native, I stick to the stock choice.
  10. I'm sure he is a fine pilot, I'm not one to judge that, but what I do know is that unfortunately his attitude is really bad, he is notorious for that 😕
  11. Jane definitely seems like an aviation legend to celebrate, but wasn't the Percival Gull a British plane?
  12. If you look at the chart with how often you use a sim, MSFS increased a lot from last year, closer to 60% use it most of the time, this is a substantial increase.
