FSX-SE Feelthere Regional Jet E-170/190 Database
Richard_Schmidt posted a topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Good Afternoon I have re-installed the Feelthere/Wilco Regional Jet E-170/190 package. (E jets) I had a Navigraph subscription until April 2021, and update the the Feelthere installation with the latest cycle 0421. When I now go to the FMS and want to enter a flight plan and the ICAo code of the one airport has changed IE: FAJS is now FAOR, the FMS gives a message saying "Data not available" Where or which folder can be verified to check about the correct airport information. I am capable of adding way-points in the same FMS and even create SID's & STAR's! Can one just create this airport as a way-point? Am I missing something? Regards Richard E -
As with many, many others I have an unstable FSX:SE experience after build 1709 installed on my system. However, I've tried to make the best of it and - you know what - I've found a silver lining! I got tired of CTD and 'child window' issues, of missing menu dropdowns and erratic behaviour so, since I haven't done it properly for a few years now, I decided to do a forensic test of all my settings (not tweaks - just settings). I set a standard flight and then trialled slider combinations, I experimented with Affinity Mask settings, I tested the effect of autogen buildings and trees per cell and a few more besides. The result? I now have a sim rig which gives me better and crisper graphics than I've ever seen and a smoothness to my visuals that I hadn't achieved until now. (I know I should have done this before now but I was too busy flying ) No rights and wrongs in this - just sharing an unexpected positive from the 1709 debacle. Rupert

Hi everybody, in lack of a "soundcard" forum, I try to explain my request here . Please feel free to correct me. Since I plan to build my own simpit one thing bothers me: The too good sound quality using a microphone for e.g. "intercom" (two hedsets). Voices from the radio using e.g. pilots edge sound like the guy sits right next to you, it's a to clear sound . Out of the box and using the standard Windows settings real life radio and intercom just not sounds like the real thing. Windows 10 even can just raise the quality for its mic input but lowering it is not provided. I recall that Win95 had an option to set the sound quality to "telephone" which would be great here now. Does anyone know a little trick (software, settings etc.) to lower the sound quality just for the microphone and imcoming radio chatter? Appreciate any help :). Kind regards.

Hi everybody, I'd like to introduce myself this way and say hello to you guys ot there :). Long story short, I startet my first virtual flying experience on an AMIGA 500 back in the late eighties and in my twenties I worked as an aircraft mechanic on airforce machines and also on GA planes like Cessna, Piper, Mooney etc. I'm in my early fourties now and after years of "flying" MSFS from version 98 on I again switched lanes and now X-Plane (10, now 11) supported with some addons (planes, scenery, realism tools...) provides the fun. Don't regret it. This year I found out about "On The Glideslope", got thrilled and now I plan to build something similar. Fot those who don't now about this, it's a nice basement simpit, great for single engine GA aircraft simulation like Cessna 172. Right now I'm doing a lot of research and I also gather desired hardware. With SketchUp I try to plan the cockpit itself. I test tools like Air Manager for a nice steam gauge panel and spadneXt to configure my already existing Saitek hardware the way I like and need it. Everything slowly comes together and in 2018 I'l start to bring everything together and build this thing. I don't rush things, since this is a hobby and I don't have any deadline to hold. But thrilled to build this thing I am :). Kind regards

Everytime when I try to install FSX on Windows 10(64-bit) the installation is almost finished. But when it says "Registrating Modules", an error occures and the setup aborts the installation. I need hlp, because I alreay re-installed Win10 and I actually just want to test my freshly bought PMDG 777&737 and Airbus A320/321!

Hi Guys. Yesterday, I installed the Win10 Securityupdate KB4043961. Since this Update, SIOC does not work anymore. In other words, I can see on the SIOC Monitor, that the Opencockpits MCP knops and Switches do take control there, but no Digits work and they do not light up. The whole MCP is dark. And the MCP does not work at all in the Flightsimulator P3D V4.1. Even an uninstall of the Update did not help. I had to recover a backup, I made before I updated the Windows System to the Securityupdate. Now it works again. But it makes no sense and it would be dangerous to ignore future updates, that are most cumulative updates. Unfortunately there is no Support from Opencockpits and their Community is down and does not work. Anyone with any ideas, what to do to solve this issue?
