Here's my first high-quality video using FS Recorder, Fraps, and Windows Video. Previously I was posting videos using my phone's recorder off screen, but I finally have a processor capable of capturing with FRAPS and am still learning the ropes of video editing. This was done really as a way to learn what I'm doing. Please enjoy, and watch for more (and better) to come!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=BtuNXaeMQAU

So has anyone found a way to fly formation in Prepar3D? My FSX kept crashing on my computer so I moved to P3D and FS Recorder does not work on it. Even the earlier versions of FSR make the plane jump around when playing recorded as traffic. Any other solutions to fly formation?

One of our SimFlite members has just come out with a new video on “Formation Flight: Basic Principles”. Being a L-39 Pilot in the real world he assisted in the development of the Lotus L-39. Some of our members are starting to use this “How To” Formation Flight: Basic Principles video to hone their FSX skills. Chuck is also teaching us how to fly Carrier Ops in formation as in the real world. Great fun if you have not tried it yet. If anyone is interested in obtaining a copy it is available at “Sporty’s Pilot Shop” and called “Formation Flight: Basic Principles” by Charles Kerber , MD, Flight Surgeon, USMC http://www.sportys.c...p/product/17808

Good morning, who is ready for this years 2013 FSX Thunderbird Flight Demonstration Squadron! I am Michael Evans, Left Wing for the FSX Thunderbirds. We are a new flight demonstration team and are looking to get our name out there. We were created about a month ago. We all share a passion for formation flying. We aim to emulate the realism, pride, and precision of the United States Air Force Demonstration Squadron. There have been a couple of Thunderbird Teams in the past, but we hope to stay around here for a while. We currently only have 4 pilots and are hoping to expand and gain that fan base that we are looking for. Our website is completed, but our forums are still getting all of that necessary Thunderbird information to keep this team as realistic as we can get. Any hints and tips are appreciated, and I hope we get good enough to participate in a few shows coming this next season. Now that ground month is over, we can get up in the air and give you all that performance that you can only get from this years FSX Thunderbirds.
