December 3, 201510 yr I know many use this scenery package as an extreme test, so thought I'd try out the updated New York V2. VAS results are included in the video ... 2.7-2.9GB used with the R66 and 3.1-3.2 GB with the PMDG 737 Note the GPU VRAM usage at 12:52 min mark - 5.12GB Graphics settings and add-ons used are in the video description. Cheers, Rob.
December 4, 201510 yr That's a really great looking scenery, never payed much attention of anything outside Orbtx, but that looks great
December 5, 201510 yr I think this New York City X scenery is some of the best I have ever seen and glad I purchased it on the day it was released. Great video Rob, as always. That was a nice landing at one of the helicopter pads too! Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! December 5, 201510 yr Awesome Rob - have me thinking of getting this - hows performance now Rich Sennett
December 5, 201510 yr Great video, I was amazed such a complex scenery didn't hit VAS or fps that hard on my system. <p>Dassault Falcon, Lear, Embraer and Challenger and Cessna Mechanic.Broadcasting live from former Soviet Missile Silo.Rhys Legge
December 5, 201510 yr I purchased that add-on but, I can't use it as it OOM's everytime. 3.2 VAS with PMDG is awesome but I wonder if part of that is due to Prepar3D algorithm? Just upgraded to Windows 10 and FSX:SE seems to be running more smoothly. Going to try it again. Thanks for posting...
December 5, 201510 yr Looks like DD have 5 other V3 compatible products and more to come ... don't get to explore that part of the world much so think I'll treat myself to a few more purchases. Cheers, Rob.
