It's some fix for haze at high altitudes I believe.

Good, the sky was a bit pale recently with ASN, checked at my home airport and it was quite off the real conditions.

It works only if upper attitude setting >100nm

I do not see this at hifisim so I am not installing it until I see it in black and white

Fixed the haze/vol. fog issue for me - even for visibility settings <100nm.
