In the footsteps of QCA

My daughter bought me a great (used) book for Christmas.

"The Accidental Airline"

see here for background:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_Charlotte_Airlines

After I finish it, I'll put together something on floats for us to explore along the rugged BC Coast

If you can find a copy, read it!!  Great book for when you are snowed in  :Cuppa:

sold, I got my copy coming. I read a little bit of it in the preview on Amazon, left me wanting more.

I also have a book called Skyfaring, haven't read it yet, but it looks good, a memoir by a retired 747 captain.

Ciao!

Found this actually photo of the real cockpit, now if they could just reproduce this look.

The cockpit is actually really nice.. and true to the original manual that comes with the plane

Bryan, that is a very "modernized" version of the WWII version of the Bobcat. We chose to model the version that had the highest production run so as to best replicate what was most often seen.

The earliest versions of the aircraft were extremely primitive in comparison to the "newer version" we chose to model.

Now that I finally have the plane up and running as intended, its fun to fly.

And I can see the cockpit detail as well, a little dirty look, nice.  And the vibration effects are perfect.
