September 6, 200421 yr My compliments to Randy as well. He's great! Spent time 1 on 1 with me to get me going when I bought the aircraft. We know who I was referring to. Rugerdog hit the nail on the head.
September 6, 200421 yr Commercial Member Gents-A couple clarifying items here:First, yes- Randy Smith is prodigious in the PMDG forum. (Thanks Randy!) You should see his participation on the beta team... He's even more visible there!Second: We've had a few folks point out that the PMDG Team are not too visible in the forum at the moment. The majority of you who have spent time here probably recognize that means that we are into the full development swing on the 744. (Those of you who did not realize this pattern: When we're in full development- it is not uncommong for key members of the team to work 18+ hours a day...so that doesn't leave much time for extra activities.... )Third: One of the PRIMARY reasons we run a forum is so that the "Community of Common Knowledge" helps everyone out. We read the forum constantly- and if we see things that obviously need attention we jump in- but if the question has been answered 10 (or a hundred) times and/or it is in the FAQ on our website- you most likely won't see us answer.Fourth: I'm in the process of working with Marc Harrington to streamline the FAQ a bit. We have seen some of the "my question didn't get answered" complaints here in the forum and realized that some folks simply can't/won't use the search function- so we're going to make your life even easier with an anchored list of links to the FAQ... Now if THAT doesn't help the guys who can't/won't use the search function.... :-)Last Item up for bids: PMDG's support email address is contained in your documentation. If you absolutely cannot find the answer to a problem, drop that email address a line and you will receive an answer most often in less than 24 hours. We process about 130 email a day through that address- and we'd prefer you "self help" here in the forum, but we ARE available to help directly by email if needed.Okay- back to my 18+... Lefteris and I are wiring the ECS Synoptic display to the Pneumatic/Air Conditioning system.... it looks nice! ;-) Robert S. September 7, 200421 yr Well lets see here Mr. Noname,PMDG released the 737-600/700 around 6/2003 and within 6 months had 3 patches released. Currently have 70 liveries for download. They released the 737-800/900 on 4/2004, had a fix out the following month and in 7/2004 had the official patch out and a added bonus for those of us that have both products, of upgrading the 600/700 VC cockpit. They currently have 59 liveries for download. Then for good measure PMDG also released a B1900 on 2/2004 with a patch in July and 36 liveries. Yep, I sure see your point about no support for there products there Mr. Noname, in a 15 month period to have released 3 of the very best add ons, and to have them running with out any problems, and to listen to customer request for a few extra goodies to be added in while doing the patches, sure adds up to no support.:-spacecraft

September 8, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hey - no problem. We can use part# GM30231AF32 (ordinary bubble gum) for the wiring. Of course, since it's approved by FAA, it costs about $2300 per pack. ;-) Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
September 9, 200421 yr I haven't got the 73's yet, but the B 1900 flys very well, it seems like it's hard to make a bad landing in this aircraft, LOVE IT!!
September 10, 200421 yr I wish PMDG would make a 757, it is a great aircraft and no one has made a good one yet.
