November 29, 200421 yr Some of them have IRS only, while most recents models nowhave GPS.You remind me that I almost broke my back when I was a kid, ridding a soviet Pogo Stick and slipped on an ice-scream on the floor. That's a true story.I was able at this time climb and jump down many steps stairs, but since the accident I never tried again.I may try again, only if the Pogo has a ABS foot, and ice-cream wiper too...
November 30, 200421 yr All I know is that pogo-stick better sign it's name on this forum ;D (Disclaimer: THIS IS A JOKE, THIS IS NOT DIRECTED AT ANY REAL PERSON UNLESS YOU REGARD A POGO-STICK AS A REAL PERSON)Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. November 30, 200421 yr Thanks for the disclaimer Randy, you had me confused there for a minute :-xxrotflmao
November 30, 200421 yr Commercial Member Gents-Please please please.... can we keep the conversation on topic? The PMDG Pogo Stick "Pretty Flowered Basket Porter" is not expected to have an FMC, based upon the limitations of FS9....Also, it will not be compatible with FS2002, nor will we support the PMDG Pogo Stick if you try to use it on a non Win-XP platform. It is going to be a complete frame rate HOG...and will require that you upgrade your system in order to get more than 24 hops per second. On the up side- the PMDG Pogo Stick "PFBP" will have an IRS and flexing wings with a basket view......We aim to please. :-) Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
November 30, 200421 yr Flexing wings is fine, but what I'm more worried about is the lack of interchangeable baskets...why have PMDG failed to include this do-or-die feature when clearly everyone wants to personalize their own pogo-stick!...looking forward to those long-haul pogo trips.
November 30, 200421 yr Brian - The Pogo-Stick certainly doesn't belong in the Express line. It's far too complicated for the ordinary fire-her-up-and-hop-on user.I am expecting the works with a fully configurable basket via the POGO Styles menu. Wilting flowers and all.Best Regards, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
November 30, 200421 yr I don't want to sound rude but that still does not answer the question about what should be made available in the stable during winter beside the flowers! Robert alluded to flexible wings in his message, so one can assume it's a bird.
November 30, 200421 yr Hi, Will the manuals for the safe operation of the pogo-stick be released as a preview before the release of the pogo-stick?Thanks,BoazEKCH
November 30, 200421 yr Hi allI was also wondering if the Pogo Stick will come out as a air driven version like the Razor AirGo Pogo Stick or a spring driven version like the Razor Gogo??? Or will we be able to choose the powerplant? Also, can we expect to see adjustable handle bars and foldable footpegs? Personally I would love to see it with a realistic heads up perspective and I wouldn't care too much for a 2d panel. But that's just my opinion. For some ideas and great close up photo's for those of you not familiar with a pogo-stick go have a look at www.pogostickusa.com They don't have a model with a basket though :(Regards,De
November 30, 200421 yr Commercial Member Captains-We should probably have a frank discussion about whether or not to include a visual model of the pogo stick....I mean- who wants to watch themself hop from the outside? Shouldn't you be on the stick itself trying to avoid a certain and untimely death? Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
November 30, 200421 yr Commercial Member We've been avoiding the subject of a Pogo stick virtual cockpit long enough, Rob... we should tell our customers about it... Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
