March 6, 200323 yr Hi guys,I'm wondering what third-party offerings are "vital" to enhancing the 767 PIC experience with FS2K2. In the last year, I've performed the "infamous" POSKY conversion and, most recently, downloaded Lee's fabulous IVSI/TCAS gauge. So... What else do I need? The 767 continues to be my favorite aircraft; but, admittedly, it's getting pretty old. Are there any other "MUST HAVE" add-ons available to keep the 767 competitive with the "latest and greatest" FS airliners? (My biggest pet-peeve is having to manually copy flightplans into the Pilots folder to make them "FMC-ready"). Thanks in advance for your suggestions.Regards,Marc
March 6, 200323 yr Hi Marc, try 'FSBuild' to get rid of your pet peeve :). It's a (still) freeware flightplanner (a payware version is coming out soon), that allows you to generate flight plans in all types of formats (including PIC). Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg
March 6, 200323 yr Well let me toot my own horn! Have you tried my VFR panel? Here's the link if you are interested in trying it out. http://library.avsim.com/sendfile.php?DLID=27197 You have landing and taxi lights and rain from the VFR view too. I just wrote a readme on how to use Lee's TCAS gauge also, see the pic below.Best Wishes,Randy J. March 6, 200323 yr Well, I would vote for a more complete overhead: the fuel dump panel and the presurization panel. regards,Jose M. BarruezoSpainhttp://personal.telefonica.terra.es/web/as...ot/logosoc4.jpg

March 9, 200323 yr DS,What about the Mini Fridge that holds a case of beer, next to the computer?Surely this is an important add-on for the Long HaulersMark
March 9, 200323 yr What...you don't think DS and others have the fridge ready stocked? It is a mandatory pre-flight item on board all Canadian PIC767's ;-)Check the MEL for Hoser Airlines...Item 1, paragraph 1..."Operative fridge and beer stocked are mandatory items for all flights".Take off, eh.Buurp.
