New 767

Thanks for your confirmation, Wade! Very, very good news indeed!Do you by any chance have plans to remodel the overhead to contain 5 "rows" instead of four. And will you possible include the pressurization panel and (even not working) HF radios on the overhead? Will the pedestal also be altered?Your FMC changes sound very promising. Thanks for you outstanding work - take the time you need, I am sure, all 767 fans are waiting patiently :)Andreas HermesEDDH

This is indeed good news. However, I for one would really like a VC for this cockpit. The newest VCs in the PMDG 737, the PSS 340 and the default lear really give a sense of three dimensions and peripheral vision. Really heightens the overall realism of the experience. That combined with PICs excellent systems would be something I would be willing to pay a great deal for.

Colin,I think that if Wade says there's not gonna be a VC, then that's the case.If I think of this from the perspective from the team (btw. I hate VCs myself :(), it is obvious that they don't want to waste any time for secondary things like eye-candy and VC. It's the _functionality_ that counts. How many sad, sad examples have we seen over the past few months with groups producing half-assed products that do have VC's but otherwise lack functionality in a serious way ? Luckily, the PIC team will not make that mistake!Terops. Colin, wasn't my meaning to diss you by any means... many people like VC, but PIC is a lot like PS1 or a systems simulator. It will not have one.

Can I just add my voice to the 757 brigade - the addition of 757 settings for the FMC allowing correct weights etc to be used would be outstanding. It would better the PSS A319/20/21 package as the 757/767 combo covers long and shorthaul flying.I already use the panel more with the 757 (IFDG) model than 767 due to the type of flights I do with BA Virtual. Thanks for the great news anyway, even a new 767 will be fantastic.

Wade had said that he wasn't sure if a model would be part of PICV2 and since it is the model where the VC is created, then that should give you your answer. I believe the PIC team is concentrating on the panel and FDE (which will be amazing I'm sure)For those of you that like VC's, Posky's new 757 looks like it will have a very nice one and if Wade and team implement a B757 compatibility into the fmc, then I'm sure a proper merge will come along as ones did for the Posky 763 and ifdg 763.Regards,Van LatendressePanel/FDE Designer

WadeGood- I am hoping that it will be an evolution of the 767 and not a revolution - entire new designMall

Hello! I think there is something wrong with the logic in the FMC.Turning at a fly-by WPT the ACFT turns later with tail wind and earlier with head wind.I think the opposite is right it should be earlier turn with tail wind (higher ground speed) and later turn with head wind.I hope you can correct this. Ariane has some good looking 757 and 767's, will we be able to take relatively any good looking physical model and still get the appropriate flight dynamics as well with the new 767 cockpit? What about a VC?http://www.arianedesign.com/

Panel Van? Wade answered me in this thread that there will be no new panel...[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Never said anything about a new panel Randy...I just said they were working on "the panel" as they will be adding new gauges and panel enhancements including networkable gauges.Regards,Van LatendresseYeoDesigns/AFG GroupPanel/FDE Designer
