No, sir, this forum is NOT SENSITIVE. How often do you actually visit here? There was an "announcement". Search this forum. There will be a PIC v2.The developers DO NOT NEED TO POST DAILY UPDATES FOR THIS FORUM.Patience is a virtue. Ignorance is no excuse.Daryl ShuttleworthDS 3339http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

>But, given the benefit of the doubt, I can only wish to see your product soon. I would say that by now the PIC-team has already established a track record that goes beyond the benefit of the doubt.Kind regards,Stephan Haaswww.lemont.nl/b767flightdeckhttp://www.pic767flyingclub.com/images/sas544.jpg

The Panel Will Be Boeing Brown in Colour - this much I can guarantee.I mean a 767 in Boeing Grey - Never. There was an official announcement here on this forum by Wade Chafe that there would be a version 2 of the 767. He also stated at the time that no release date/further info would be available from the development team "until" such times as they were redy to post it. It was also announced that v2 would not be a "patch" for the existing v1, but a completely new package that would surpass all expectations.

Offensive???????? Give your head a shake!! Are these "develovers" so fragile that a post from one person that doesn't even attack them will make them throw the project down the drain? The post is offensive to you people who worship a flight sim project that may or may not exist, you protect this project and it's developers and you don't even know diddly squawt about it! The people who come on here and ask for updates are the peaople that will make the project(if it exists) financially possible. I think the developers should say where they stand on a regular basis or they shouldn't have spilled the beans in the first place that they are working on something if they dont want to update it. >The people who come on here and ask for>updates are the peaople that will make the project(if it>exists) financially possible. That's such crap - everyone and their brother is going to buy this addon the second it's released and you know it. Have you seen the original PIC? Doesn't sound like you have because there would be no question as to whether you're getting the new one after experiencing the first version...

Let's say MS are making a new version of FS. They announce that work is underway on it and that no further updates will be posted until they are ready. The development team at MS are under strict NDA and do not speak on any of the FS forums. They rely solely on Press releases to communicate with the FS community at a time that is suitable to themselves. The MS development team also utilise a variety of people from around the word who have a large deal of not only FS but also real world experience - and these people are also under NDA to not reveal themselves as MS testers. In a round about way, some snippets sneak out during the testing process of the new FS, but nothing is confirmed as it is always deniable. When MS are ready, they announce with a blaze of publicity and screenshots such things as release dates, pricing, and start to allow their testers to talk publicly about the features of the new sim. My point - IF THIS APPROACH IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR MICROSOFT - THEN IT IS MORE THAN GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE DEVELOPERS OF THE NEW PIC

READ THE POST! Where did I say I wasn't getting it?? Where did I say anybody else won't get it? I am not questioning the product past, presant or future.

Dennis,The reasons to why the team has refrained from commenting anymore are various, and most of them have already been said here. But I will say one more. The team does not do this (as far as I know) with their main goal in the sales and "future customers". Wade has said many moons ago, that he (they) simply wants us PIC-heads to get a working FS2004 version. From what I know him and the rest of the team, they are working their asses off here with the primary goal in giving us something to fly with in FS2004, at SOME point (ie. when it's ready). They do not advertise, promise, speculate and tease, because it's not in their interest to do so. You might not realize this, but I'm guessing Wade & guys couldn't care much less about the comments here that demand better service, since we all are "paying customers". (have we paid for a FS2004 version yet ? Has Wade "requested" more customers or promised something to us "customers" ?)If you were to do something out of love for the thing you were doing, what would you think when people would put words in your mouth and start demanding things based on something you NEVER said. Think about it.Tero

Overly sensitinve? Read your post again: "Are you all serious? Are you all puppets? Are you zombies walking around with your heads chopped off?..."The "..don't get me wrong.." part is sort of lost after the rest of that little tirade, don't you think?

"The post is offensive to you people who worship a flight sim project that may or may not exist, you protect this project and it's developers and you don't even know diddly squawt about it!"I guess you don't know "diddly squawt" about who does or doesn't know anything about this project. No one was rude to, or attacked the (767simfan2)person who asked the original question. The post that turned the whole thread around was the one attacking everyone else for "settling" for "coming along nicely".And forgive us (please) if we have doubts about the motives of brand new forum users, who seem to like to stir things up, and see how many people they can p!ss off.

I dont think a pic v2 is even in the works, and if it is, the team is doing something almost unheard of in the fs world, no previews. Of course Im wrong.

Darryl,Any chance of some spoiler animation shots ? Maybe a whole TD sequence ? :-outta

Regards,

Brian Doney

That's hardly stirring the pot, it's asking a very legit question then getting dumped upon for asking it. Then calling it like it is! It was all fine until someone came back with a SMARTASS answer as we have seen time and time again. Dennisin the avsim community for some 6 years

Again - which LEGITIMATE question got "dumped upon"? The original question which started this thread was answered honestly, and politely, and with a touch of humor. "HAWKMAM", seems to understand the situation. Others weren't satisfied with the answer and decided to "stir the pot". So, as others have said, just chill out, remain patient, retain a sense of humor, and your patience and good humor will be very well rewarded.
