June 7, 200421 yr That's okay, I don't think there will be a PMDG 737 either. :)Do you get all bent out of shape when PMDG won't give you a release date? (I'm guessing from your banner that the answer is "no") Why do you think that PMDG has chosen to take that stance? When the time is right, there will be previews of PICv2. BobK
June 8, 200421 yr Hey don't bring PMDG into this LMAO. Alex has nothing whatsoever to do with PMDG other than flying it. Tag means nothing really ;-). PMDG has had different motives for releasing information on products. Judging what Tero said it makes sense why there is no detailed information yet. Even PMDG did not release dates (Learned the hard way) NOT to. We all know PIC V2 is being tested and refined at present. This takes time and TIME was one of the factors that made the first version so great. I AM SURE Wade will release information when HE fells its right. I want it just like everyone else but I know the longer it takes the better overall product we will have. Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. June 8, 200421 yr >I dont think a pic v2 is even in the works, and if it is, the team is doing something almost unheard of in the fs world, no previews. Of course Im wrong.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

June 8, 200421 yr Well guys, it seems pretty evident that people are just growing impatient. Of course there's nothing any of us can do to help others believe what has already been repeated a million times. It's getting almost funny already to see posts like "I don't think PIC2 is ever coming" :).However, and what is unpleasant to see, is that there seem to be people hovering around forums (some of them even "experienced" in FS world), who have taken a pretty arrogant and demanding position towards the new 767 that is coming. I don't blame people for wanting it so badly. I know I want it pretty badly :). It's just that people should really take heart of what has been officially announced in the forum. It has repeatedly been said that PIC2 is coming, and there will be more information when the developers decide to give it out. Pretty simple. No need to go over THAT again and again and again, and stir up hostilities in the forum. Instead, how about something constructive... no one is talking about what they will do with the new bird or anything like that :).Hard, I know.Tero PPL(A)
June 8, 200421 yr ETB767 Wow,"Are you ALL serious? Are you ALL puppets? Are you zombies walking around with your heads chopped off? Are you robots who are cloned..."And you're surprised that you deem some people overly sensitive and that some are taking it personally. Difficult not to with the way you've so written your, O so tactful post...Don't take it personnaly but I can't help wondering who's head needs shaking.Perhaps your arguments would have hit home...but they got lost somewhere in those first few lovely lines...Nice going !
June 8, 200421 yr I followed this rather stupid thread, like I did with other similar threads (you don't really see something new here do you?).Can someone please explain me the urge of a simmer (who is over 12 years of age) to see previews? I can understand why the developers would want it, but what's the use for us? are we going to fly a screenshot? are we going to drink a release date? wear a feature list? what's the use of it all?I, Ilan Z. Jonas, hereby declare that I don't want to see a screenshot, don't care about feature lists and will purchase 767v2 anyhow.I'm pretty sure the silent majority is with me here - for any whiner there is a real buyer who couldn't care less about a XXXX screenshot.Ok, dinner is served in 2 hours, I want my wife to give me a full preview first or I won't eat.Cheers to all PICers and Nudniks alike,Ilan
June 8, 200421 yr I have seen the light. Open up FS2002 and Load the PIC. Take a screen shot of the panel. Load up FS2004 at the same airport.Take a screen shot. Using some cut and paste skills in MS Paint, cut the outside view from the FS2002 screenshot and replace with the FS2004 outside view. Hey Presto You wil then have a screenshot of what the 767 could look like in FS2004.

June 10, 200421 yr Hy,a day I decided to change with 767PIC because I doubted on the future of 767 and purchase the new 737ng pmdg; after many attempt I don't stop think to old 767. The 767, although produced 4 years ago, is the best accurate airplane for FS, better of 737ng (my opinion) and now i come back on FS2002 with 767.OK, after this congratulations, i don't understand how for the developers, that made the new 767 for the old fs2000, now take so many mounths's (from september) only for make a import of 767 in fs2k4 as well as without short information of the new project.I regard the developers for this product and believe that if the new version will appear even with any new gauge and little improvement will become a product perfect.Think that one information monthly on the progress of new version is a little binding but well appreciate from all fan-lover that wait impatience and that sure will buy the new 767 picv2.My opinionValerio
June 10, 200421 yr Personally, I think it would be a great idea to show 'in progress' shots of the PIC. Even if, as some people say, it still uses the old background, so what? There are "New CRTs" and we'd like to see those.People are being put off by this secrecy, Is there going to be a website made?Seeing is beliving, and by the information we've recived on this forum is not evidence that there is infact ever going to be a Version 2. Considering Wade or the developers havn't given any further detail, suggests it might just have been scrapped.Dave Chapman
