Hi Eric,Really great to here from you. I certainly fully understand what you're going thru regarding the job insecurity and I wish you all the best on that point. To say you've been missed is a major understatement and so glad you are trying to get back up to speed in the community. I'm sure at what ever level of committment you make the flight sim community will be better for it. God Bless.

Thanks for sharing Eric, we all sure appreciate it. All the best to you and your family during this holiday season.God Bless,Kevin

Eric,I read your diatribe with a keen sense of curiosity and amazement. At first I wasn't going to respond. But after reading the innocent responses from the GREAT guys on this forum, I cannot remain quite.Eric, after reading your post, I can honestly say that you know absolutely NOTHING regarding job stress. Also, I find your words regarding the destruction of your profession to be of particular interest. . .almost bordering on a note of hypocracy. However, this forum isn't the time or place for such a discussion. What is relevant here is the new LDS 767, and it's potential success for advancing our hobby. So, I will end this message on a positive note by saying "Thank You."Yes, "thank you," for not being a part of the new LDS 767. With this in mind I can buy the program with a clear conscience and will be avidly recommending to as many other avid simmers to BUY THIS PROGRAM!Thanks again,

Hawkman,Quite the vicious little rascal ain't ya....As you said this Forum is not the place to debate this....so why post it?Nasty, nasty....PS... Moderator?

Eric, great to hear from you!Among a few others you are one of the person that have meant most to my progress within flight-simulation. The PIC 767/757 is sure one of them but the previous panels actually had a greater impact on my flight-sim career especially the 767 and the Saab 340 panels. My best wishes for you and your family.

Hawkman,Like you, I was not going to respond to your "diatribe". But your anonymous post was just too enjoyable. I must say congratulations to you for completely missing the point of the post. I can now rest comfortably knowing that you will enjoy the new product.Oh, and by the way, here is a little spelling and English lesson for you:HYPOCRISYDefinition: -- insincerity by virtue of pretending to have qualities or beliefs that you do not really have -- an expression of agreement that is not supported by real conviction Synonyms: -- lip service I guess next time I will try to put more sincerity into my writings. My apologies. Thanks for playing.Eric.

My most sincere thanks to everybody for their kind comments. I have enjoyed reading them all. I hope to respond to as many as I can privately over the next few days. It's nice to see so many familiar people still active in the hobby :-). Thanks again.Eric.

Eric, you have way too much grace for that piece of crap. As usual, your professionalism shines through. Welcome back!

That was very well written. Thanks for taking the time to do that.I don't know you at all and i don't post much on any flight sim forums but i did know you went back to the days of Fs98 with the 767 and its great to see you back here again all these years later.

>At first I wasn't going to respond.Trust your first instinct Hawkman. Because, quite frankly, none of us are remotely interested in your second thoughts...

Eric,Thanks for sharing your behind the scenes story. I always hoped for the day you return (something like "honey, i'm home!"). This is certainly a happy end (or beginning) for the sim part of your story, and I sure wish you even happier for the "real world" part. Cheers,IlanA reminder for everyone: this is Eric's post, one that many of us hoped for. Don't make it hawkman's post, cause it ain't.

There is always one in a group. Thanks for those great panels and dedication to this hobby!Dan

>That was very well written. Thanks for taking the time to do>that.>Amen. IMHO, Eric has always had the makings of a very successful second career as a writer, particularly a tech writer. They're a special breed. Eric, your work has always been a shining example of truly excellent technical writing and your post here shows you haven't lost your touch. I'm glad to see both you and your rare talent back in evidence.cz
