I didn't check but I'm quite sure there were plenty of AI. I use World of AI, and have 100% GA traffic, and 75% airline. However, these wake effects do not start immediately after entering FSX. It starts probably about 2-5 min after takeoff. I sent a second email, did you receive it?

I lost everything to a HD failure and have "almost" everything reloaded.I have NOT loaded ActiveSkyX due to the problems I was having.Sudden wind changes, strange ground handling, sudden acceleration ect ect.Just curious what the latest is or if a cause has been determined. This was running the latest beta,XP, SP2,dx9

Unless its a new version with the old name, I already have it and its the vr causing me problems.I will wait it out and see what develops. Thanks, Jim

After having uninstalled, reinstalled everything several times, cleaned, defragmented, set....this new release built 1159, I managed to solve all little problems apart from one:wind direction/speed decipted (shown on plane display) do not correspond at all with the ones mentioned on ASX map/report pages.I have installed latest registered FSuipc with its wind smoothening feature on, perhaps do I have to use the new ASX one instead?ThanksNick

Jim,wind smoothing is off on ASX and on on Fsuipc.ThanksNick

Hi,It is known that there are issues within FSX that prevent proper depiction of wind directions and speed... It's an interpolation problem mostly. Thus regardless of the data we are setting, FSX is going to incorrectly render the winds much of the time.Only recently now that we have a handle on wind shifts and other problems is this inconsistent wind rendering really noticeable. We are working on new stuff here to get around this issue :)

Yes David, I report having the same issue, wanted to go back to a date in 2003 and got the same message.Mark>Has anyone had any problems using the Sim Time (historic)>option with this beta?>The sim date was set to the current date but the time was>earlier in the day.>ASX complained that the date was before Jan 2007 or something>similar.>Sorry for being so imprecise, I'll have to reinstall the beta>and try again (I had uninstalled it as strange things were>happening to planes on autopilot i.e. they were bobbing up and>down and wouldn't stay on altitude hold).>>Thanks,>David
