In the Caribbean try both Saba (SABA) and St Barths (TFFJ), but not the defaults. Both are available as freeware add-ons here in AVSIM. Approach St Barths to land on Runway 10 and you will find a bit of a hill in the way. Saba is on a plateau with a 130 foot cliff drop at each end of the runway. Both runways are short, but Saba's particularly so. Indeed, Saba is said to be the shortest runway in the world in use by a commercial service. In the real world, both require pilots to undergo special training before they are certified to use them.Martin

nice airport, where is that?

Try KTEX: Telluride. VERY interesting approach; high altitude :-sae Not that good for T n G's as there really is only one way in and out despite what the AI will be doing. Still a lot of fun especially if you'd like to try it IFR! Mike

If your looking at Payware try the LHH Creations website:- http://www.llhinfo.com/hom_en.html Includes altiports of Courecheval and Megeve and Albertville and Challes les Eaux combine them with France VFR scenery from http://www.francevfr.com/ - which also produces some nice small French airport scenery's as well. Also the freeware LFLG - Grenoble / Le Versoud Version 2 is very well done - http://perso.orange.fr/jean.a/LFLG-leversoud.htmSome other Freeware:- Joe Binka's Old Rhinebeck with Mick Morriseys AI package,Hanel Field by Stephen Read -a beautifully done little place,Suisse 2004 Scenery by Daniel Gauthier - loads of small swiss airports There's loads out there -freware and payware (and still loads more that could be done!!! -waiting for the day we get some photoscenery for southern B.C. and some proper redintions of the small fields there)- all depends where you want to fly?

>nice airport, where is that? That's Strom Field in the Georender series from Richard Goldstein. Payware, but worth it if you're into small field detail and ambience. I have them all. It's a terrible weakness...

Two of the coolest airports are from Aerosoft. Both have short slopping runways...1. Lukla, Nepal. http://www.screenshotartist.co.uk/aerosoft_lukla_02.htmhttp://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/ibosh...1420840,DF10064There are a set of Katmandu airports (freeware) in the AVSIM library that goes with this as well.2. German scenery 4 (EDER - Wasserkuppe). http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/ibosh...1420840,FS02265The Aerosoft Frankfurt Main compliments this scenery too.Manny

If you can do TNG at Lukla - I want to watch !!!!But it is definitely a must visit airport - even in the default. Also try the flight from Lukla (VNLK) to Paro (VQPR) - then try to figure out how real world pilots land A319's and BAe146's at VQPR.In the US - Indian Creek (S81) is a lot of fun.

Looks like I'm forced into adding to my Georender scenery. :-lol

Ultimate Terrain anywhere is just great and covers vast areas. For me it's the #2 addon after mesh.Misty Fjords has some beautiful south Alaska/BC Flying with many small fields, they have even built up quite a community of freeware avid add on developers and even have their own little fan community with about 25 extra freeware deep woods airports, traffic (boats and geese and cabins) etc. The scenery in the payware is second to none IMO and the freeware is very good....and rustic in a good way.You can visit Mysty Moorings fan site at http://www.mistymoorings.com/Edit: I forgot to add, lots of floatbases too.

Flagstaff, AZ is a good one. High altitude and trees at EOR.
