If you fly in the US and aren't too hard over on having full screen mode all the time, the FAA has a website with printable and viewable terminal procedures for all US facilities here:http://www.naco.faa.gov/digital_tpp.asp?ve...;end=06-04-2009means you probably have to go pause, since it won't overlay on your FSX screen, but at least you can find out what you need to know quickly.

I know you only use FSX but in FS9 I use a module called PDFKneeboard which will open PDF of charts somewhere on my computer and display them within FS9 without pausing or minimizing FS. You can zoom, rotate, and flip through multiple pages.I use it in FS9 only as I don't use FSX but maybe it would work.Sean

Hi,You may want to have a look at EFBFSX from FSWidgets. This software is not only an exellent chart viewer but also can be used as a moving map and weather data downloader. If used on a single PC FSX must be run in windowed mode but on a network installation FSX can be run "full window". This app allows you also to calibrate charts etc...Cheers

Best Regards,

Try PDFKneeboard and use it to view your charts inside FS9 or FSX. I use it and its great! It allows you to view any PDF file as well. It is a very fast add-on, and is very easy to switch PDF files, go to a certain page, scroll, rotatate, zoom in/out, etc.PDFKneeboard:http://code.google.com/p/fscode/wiki/PDFKneeboardFor Charts Try the Vatsim Chartfinder:http://chartfinder.vatsim.net/NavData World Charts:http://www.navdata.at/php/charts/charts.php

to gman:can you use that pdf program to browse the internet? Because if using full screen normally you have to go online to get europe charts off vatsims chart finder and you have to either pause or use windowed mode often.

Easy, just download the charts you need before you fly. If I am flying to KLAS from KLAX, I get the SIDS from KLAS and the airport diagram, and save the PDFs to a folder in which I store charts, then I open it with PDFKneeboard. There is a web browser that I have for FSX, it is called FS Web Communicator, but if you download a file such as a PDF, it will window your game, because it cannot download with FSX. It is good for browsing the web, and watching youtube tutorials. So the best thing to do is save the charts before your flight. It looks like you do lots of IFR flights anyway, so you must have a planned destination. :(Best place for europe charts.http://www.navdata.at/php/charts/charts.phpEDIT: Hmmm. seems like the link above doesn't work. When you click the link, go to "Charts" at the top of the page.Just to help you out if you are lost on the link to the European charts at NavData:This is the page to get charts and airport info.http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/public/index...p;Itemid=3.html

hi,Does anyone know how to modify the size of the pdf kneeboard? Thanks
To increase the background, grab the lower right corner and pull. To increase the size of the pdf, use the mouse wheel while holding the CNTL key. This can be changed in the settings so that you do not need to hold the control key.
