November 30, 200916 yr Ron,I agree with you....W7 64 is absulutely wonderful...Love it!!...LOL.....Autothumbnail is not from Microsoft...And its Microsoft,NOT Microshaft....And if you don,t like Microsoft products, simply DON,T USE ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS!!!Well BMG50,I guess my sardonic wit went over your head.I'm just tired of MS trying to BS us with"improved new products"Yes,for the most part I like FSX,but its taken years for the hardware to barely catch up with the software. Now they introduce a new operating system, having been unable or unwilling to fix Vista. This is typical, watch the MAC ads LOL. And I like the "improved new product,s" called W7....By the way,the way I see it,is that W7 IS the fix for Vista....Lou C172P N97674 PPL SEL Complex High Performance
November 30, 200916 yr Another big thank you Mike.RTH Autothumbnail has been compiled with incorrect option and will not work on any 64 bit OS.Since the author included source code with the program, it's very easy to fix that. Just replace the exe file with the one linked below:http://www.zshare.net/download/691719708cc75b0c/

Microsoft doesn't "try to BS us with"improved new products"", Ron. They're in the software business, and there are hundreds of people at that company, just like you or me, and many of those jobs involve writing and improving programs all day, every day. There's no BS about your job, and there's no BS about my job, (and I'm actually in IT). Ordinary people with ordinary homes, families, cats, dogs and kids. There are also hundreds (thousands?) of millions of workers on this planet who owe their jobs to Microsoft, or whose jobs and/or lives have been made better because of Microsoft. We have the best flight simulator on the planet, because of Microsoft. For a measly $50-$60 bucks. I'm absolutely glad they build to lead the hardware because it allows for patching, and gives the sim longevity. MAC??? Can you pop in the latest GE-Force or ATI graphics card in a MAC?? Can you switch the MAC mobo for an MSI mobo?? or a different Sound Blaster card?? You are totally stuck with an over-priced, proprietory MAC, my friend. They look pretty, but My TripleHead2Go and TrackIR won't work with them, let alone AutoThumbNail. 64-bit OS's weren't on the market when that nice little app came out. How would you possibly expect the designer to mind-read that Microsoft would produce a 64-bit desktop OS that's normally only found in a server? And then you blame Microsoft?? Come on! I'm sure glad Boeing improved it's aircraft over the years, because I'd hate to be flying some of the machines that were around when they got started. Ok I'll quit now before I have to take a shot of Nitro.. :( i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
