I hope PMDG will release some Liveries of 'none' j41 operators, like Fedex Feeder, UPS. By the way will there be a "executive" and cargo version of the J41Jordan Collins

With a J41 then, what controls am i likely to need to set up on the engine front?
Two power levers and two condition levers based on what I've read at...

http://www.smartcockpit.com/plane/bae/JETSTREAM-41/ I've read over most of what they have multiple times over the past few months. Hopefully some of it has sunk in so that when I fire up the J41 for the first time I'm not completely confused. :(

The Smart Cockpit website (see above post by Chaos) is always worth a look for such types, but of course there are default aircraft in FS which have a turboprop engine (such as the Cessna Caravan), so you can actually find a fair bit in the FS tutorials on how they work and what you should be doing.Al

I think he means a real one, although I could be wrong.

I assume that I will be able to start this plane at the runway threshold, with the engines already running, and only have to set trim and flaps before take off? I know that this sounds like a complete waste of all the time and effort that has undoubtedly been put into modelling all of the systems of the plane, but my main reason for wanting to purchase it is because I have always wanted to fly a nicely detailed version of the Jetstream 41, and there are very few options available! I am more interested in the flight model and stability of the plane, since I will be hand flying it :(

Yeah you can certainly do that, but you'll be missing out on quite a lot by not programming the FMS etc...

Developers when they get to the point of testing there own product, normally the first "working" version is called "Alpha". When the product is much closer to the finished product it goes in for final testing and that is called "Beta" he has called it beta 1 for the reason if they find any problems they might be a beta 2 version, once beta is finished it goes "Gold" we can buy :( Dave David Murden
