Well the fuel logic issue remains.

Weather radar does not seem functional.

What do you post under on the CS Forums? There is actually help to be found there. Also, I'd be submitting trouble tickets on this stuff. It does not surprise me that the 757 4.3 flaws are present, because what I suspected all along was that our 4.3 was going to be the 1.0 of the 767 once it was announced. But what would surprise me would be things that work in 4.3 not working in 767.

I am active under the name hammer, I have posted thge speedtape question in the 767 general forum, since that's all there is right now, but the thread was removed. This is apparently betaware, which is okay since that was my assumption anyhow.

Can anyone answer these?1) flex wings?2) cockpit click sounds still rely on that Creative Lab driver installed separately?3) bumpmaps?Cheers,Etienne

That's what we do. :(

Interesting. I made a lengthy post listing the 757's 'shortcomings'. Issues with the TRP logic, SPD INTV, VNAV profile breaking with change of CRZ ALT, Pressurization logic, fuel feed logic and other smaller items.I was about to hit the 'Post' button when I thought - why bother? I knew the post would just be deleted.

Why would it be deleted if these concerns are accurate?I am a recently new customer of their's with the CS 757 and now 767 and am trying to gauge how helpful and supportive they are.

Then you know they do not provide help through their forum, but, rather via their searchable knowledge base and, for specific, individual concerns, trouble tickets. Realism issues are likely to be answered, if at all, with a "we have forwarded this to our developers for consideration in future upgrades." Support is not state of the art, no matter how you look at it.They also make it clear in their forums (in language more than one developer might secretly applaud) that expectations of fideltiy to systems should be reasonable for consumer entertainment software. Granted, that can be used as a copout, but the vast majority of their target audience is not going to run into the laundry list of problems recited above simply because they don't know enough to run into them. I know I don't. Or I do, some of them, and they just don't bother me because there are other things I am enjoying about the product, which is pretty much what I could say about everything I have or do in life.I was not aware they deleted posts, since I have seen critical posts remain on their forums. Maybe they do.I've decided I will pass on the 767 until I see something that tells me it is different enough from the 757 to warrant purchasing a "new experience." I already have a 767. I am sure Captain Sim's version is good on its own terms; I don't think I would want a 757 and a 767 both from the same company, no matter who it was. The 757, if anything, is more versatile (don't know how many 767s are on regular 100 nm routes). If differences emerge, I'll reconsider. If VC cockpit lighting at night is indeed the very same, that means (a) they like it that way and I have just made a bad aesthetic judgment; or ( b ) they dont' care. There is a forum fix for that for the 757 that is "in beta testing" from a dedicated and talented user. Same way with the tutorial issue. They KNOW people expect a tutorial, and that is certainly not unreasonable, but can we expect one?I have developed some fondness for Captain Sim and love their 757 and 727. It is like having a friend that is a great guy, but you sometimes find yourself chuckling and telling people, 'That just Bob."

Why is everybody keep moaning about this company and that company? Stop wingeing, either you buy it or don't buy it. :(
It isn't moaning about CS at all. I have nothing against CS. They have released some really cool projects, namely the C-130. It IS raising questions about a VNAV that didn't work properly in its previous iteration, unlike the PMDG planes, super 80 pro, and LDS767 which all work perfect for me. Having concerns about systems modeling in a 55 dollar addon is NOT moaning. :(

Hopefully they will have another $9.99 sale pretty soon.

:) Yes please. I got the C130 at the last one. Best buy ever.
