July 11, 200916 yr Do you have GE Pro? I had a similar problem once. I re-ran GE Pro and it solved it. I might have just gotten lucky and it could have been that re-starting Fs9 fixed it. No guarantees, but a possibility. Good luck.

Everything is fine during day textures. Its just night looks awful! As you can see!Whatever this is, it cant be right!
July 11, 200916 yr Posting your system specs might be helpful. If you already did that I guess I missed it.
July 12, 200916 yr Is it possible your color depth is set to 16 bit instead of 32? "Even Ozzy's wagging his tail again. Liam who?"
July 12, 200916 yr 2nd the color being 16bit. Also, is it only at that airport or are all ground textures like this? - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |
July 12, 200916 yr Its only at the airport and within 2d panels. I checked the 16bit and 32bit settings and everything is on 32bit. This is weird! My system specs are in my sigEDIT:-Its also in the sky at night. Lines and squares allover the place of slightly different coloursSeems that these people have the same issue? http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=42964
July 12, 200916 yr Anyone got any further input on this? It forced me into reinstalling FSX, only to uninstall it due to poor performance at Heathrow with level d 767!
July 12, 200916 yr Check in settings/Display/filtering - looks like it may be set to 'none' - must be bi or tri linear
July 12, 200916 yr Its set at Trilinear. Like I say, these problems only happen during dawn, dusk and night. everything is 100% OK during the day! The texture are horrid at the ibiza scenery at night time, but splendid during the day. And the blocks in the sky is just weird!
July 12, 200916 yr It forced me into reinstalling FSX, only to uninstall it due to poor performance at Heathrow with level d 767!Is this a question regarding FS9 or FSX as this is the FS9 forum? Are you trying to use FSX addons in FS9? :( Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
July 12, 200916 yr Is this a question regarding FS9 or FSX as this is the FS9 forum? Are you trying to use FSX addons in FS9? :( JoeThis is regarding FS9, I have nothing relating to FSX installed.
July 12, 200916 yr After delving further into this I have found out the blockyness in sky at night is a FS9 limitation. And the blockyness on the ground at Ibiza and the whole island of mallorca X is the Photo ground textures, which are pretty much USELESS at night!Great Shame as they are good addons for during the day.Oh well, must learn to live with it;)
