Well, I have just learned that Arrow Air Cargo (a longtime DC-10 operator) has begun MD-11 ops, albeit in World Airways colors for the moment.Maybe that fantasy Arrow Air MD-11F paint we have, will not be a fantasy much longer.I found a pic of the Arrow flight in World colors on airliners.net but so far, no definitive purchase of an MD-11 by Arrow that I know of...

I did my repaint in Arrow colours due to the fact that World are operating for them for the next year with two aircraft . Like you say it is probably only a matter of time before they get their own MD11 it would look fantastic in their colours .Lee Marrow

Lee, I did a search of you on the library and it looks like your textures for the PMDG MD-11 are for FSX only; do you have any for FS9?The arrow air one is pretty sweet.

Dan its done it should be available on flightsim tomorrow about 10am U.S eastern time or about 3 pm U.K time . Any problems with it let me know as im unable to test the paints i do for FS2004 :( Lee Marrow

Dan Avsim are unable to take uploads at the minute as soon as its back up i will upload most of my stuff on Avsim . I have a good 50 or so sceneries and repaints waiting to go . I only upload to Avsim and Flightsim so Flightsim it is until Avsim is fully back online .Lee Marrow

The library upload has been out since the break-in, or at least everytime I have checked it.

Thanks for the effort Lee, I'll just register an account at flightsim and get it. I'm working a lot so I'll get back with you by the end of the week on how well it works with FS9.

Lee,I loaded the textures tonight with some minor, correctable problems:1.When I loaded the airplane it had no VC, engine fans, and gear textures. I corrected this by copying the textures from the World Airways GE cargo and then placing your textures on top of that.2.It made it's own directory in the select aircraft screen. I corrected this by changing it in the aircraft.cfg file.Like I said these were minor issues and I assume the missing textures weren 't there because of the differences between FSX and FS9. The paint works like a champ now and it looks good cruising at 34000 feet. Thanks again Lee.

Thanks for that Dan. Due to your post I was able to install first time with no glitches.Thanks also to Lee for the superb paint job. I must admit, I have converted the files to DXT3 to reduce texture load but it still looks good.Iain SmithRugby, UK

Glad to hear it works good . The reason for the VC textures not included is because they are not in the textures folder in FSX and also i dont think PMDG would be too impressed if i uploaded their VC textures . Also some people have emailed me letting me know that the repaints show up under McDonnell Douglas in FS9 .I would really like to see what the paints look like in FS9 as i have only seen my Fedex repaint in FS9 just to see what the difference is .Lee Marrow
