October 6, 200916 yr Commercial Member Hey I just went to the super atc website, on the site it says it enables you to use voice commands in Radar Contact, then it has a link to your main site, but I don't really see any info about it, can someone explain to me how superatc will interact with rc4?It recognises a large assortment of appropriate ATC-type voice commands/responses and sends the appropriate RC keystroke. It is effectively the ATC and Radar Contact parts of the full "It's Your Plane" product.Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. October 6, 200916 yr Another small question.Do you get the replys using RC voices or Microsoft's Vista one voice?ThanksTrevor Trevor Golding
October 6, 200916 yr Commercial Member Do you get the replys using RC voices or Microsoft's Vista one voice?RC uses RC's pre-recorded waves. Its Your Plane (and presumably SuperATC, where it might actually talk) uses synthesised voices, whatever you select out of what you might have installed. I use IYP with purchased voices which are far far superior to the free ones in Vista or XP.But replies to keypresses sent to RC will be from RC, obviously, so will be the pre-recorded onces as usual. Why not simply try it if you are curious, it is free after all?Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. October 8, 200916 yr Commercial Member Do I need to own Its your plane to try Super ATC?Thanks,Alexno, that's the whole point of superatc. if you own IYP, then you have voice recognition for all sorts of flight related items, including interacting with radar contact. superatc is a free download, which is a subset of IYP, just to do voice recognition for radar contact.jd JD Read my blog

October 9, 200916 yr The latest version contains an RC4 phrase library with matching keystrokes. If you want to add to or modify those phrases and key assignments you can. It does suggest you change the key assignments within RC to multiple key combinations to avoid conflicts with other running applications. The Microsoft speech recognition module that you download (free) if not installed does have a training module to adjust it to your voice characteristics. The SATC documentation will guide you. Do I have to record or setup the sentences which command the RC4 and its appropriate contacts? Or how does that work?
