October 10, 200916 yr Hey Dillon, what's with that really funky GPS/Auto Pilot thing? Do people really fly SIDs in a GA aircraft anyway?Mark
October 10, 200916 yr Author If IFR yep , I have seen it done many times. Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.
October 10, 200916 yr You might check out the Frolov DHC 8, Dash 8. And to your other question, I've flown many STARSs in turboprops. Don't remember getting any SIDs tho, just direct clearances or vectors out of the area.db. not cooper
October 10, 200916 yr Author Do yo mean vectors out of the area for a sid. The sids that were involved in my experience i would get a clearance from delivery such as ex:"abc cleared to cccc via thuderbay 5 dep. etc etc" then when airborn and intila contact with departure i would not usually get to fly the sid but would rather get vectors or direct clearances also as in you situation even though i got a cleareance through delivery to fly a sid.p.s This topic has taken a crazy left turn :) lol Any other turboprpos out there. October 10, 200916 yr Clearance Delivery would clear us "...direct xxxVOR direct xxx VOR as filed..." Or "... direct xxxVOR then heading xx intercept Victor xxx as filed..."db. not cooper

Their Jetstream looks amazing, but they only made it for FSX, so...meh.Those are what come to mind. I'm sure there are more!

Their Jetstream looks amazing, but they only made it for FSX, so...meh.Those are what come to mind. I'm sure there are more!I have both the Majestic DH3 (bought 2 months ago) and Flight1 ATR (Have it many years and fly it a lot).I have yet to complete a single flight in the DH3. It took a while to configure/tune the throttle axis but I can't get the flaps right. No matter what, they immediately go to 30 and stay there. I admit it could be caused by my system setup, but I don't want to spend any time in it anymore. Also the panel graphics are FS98'ish and I'm not kidding. System and sound wise it is superb.FMC data is only updated very infrequently by Majestic themselvesThe ATR72 is a very nice aircraft, very good graphics and frame rates, at laest on my PC.FMC data is updatable via Navigraph. It is a joy to fly with and you really can't go wrong with it.My 2 cents,Egbert Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 17.3dme SPL 108.40 | Simulator: FS2024 System: AMD 7800X3D - Gigabyte X670 - RTX 4090 - 64GB DDR5 - 2 x 2TB SSD - 32" 1440p Display - Windows 11 Pro
October 10, 200916 yr Author Thanks alot for the replies, I hear good things about the f1 ATR and have contemplated buying it fot the past year at least, maybe i will just pony up the dough and add it to my hanger. Really friendly on the FPS as well!Just throwing another aircraft in for consideration there's a nice Saab 2000 around as well might want to give that a try. It's freeware but you would have to find or edit a decent panel which is unfortunate.
