November 10, 200916 yr if only had 2D cockpit :( (and i may then use FSX for something besides testing)--Exactly the same can be said about the newest release by FeelThere/Wilco. Lack of widescreen 2D cockpit in ERJ-135/145 V.2 means no 2D cockpit at all for the majority of customers who have used widescreen monitors for a long long time already. I can't believe you could enjoy the squashed view of the 2D panel on a standard (nowadays) widescreen monitor. So what's the point of your comment above? (unless you still are on an old old LCD/CRT monitor). And I'm curious how some development decisions can completely defy common sense in the most apparent parts floating on the surface.(looking for my cc to go and buy while typing this)Thanks,Dirk.
November 11, 200916 yr ... the newest release by FeelThere/Wilco. the ERJv2 IS A FEELTHERE PRODUCT, not wilco's.... majority of customers who have used widescreen monitors for a long long time alreadywidescreen monitors are now the majority sold ... does not mean that the majority of monitors in use are widescreen.... you still are on an old old LCD/CRT monitor)why should i replace a fully functional LCD 'FS' monitor? i do have one 'widescreen' monitor ... on my ACER ONE netbook ... which is nice for a little more room to view items on it's small screen; and the times it is used to watch movies on my boat.-- D. And you shouldn't change them of course till they burn out one day. But I bet 2/3 of the customers of ERJ-135/145 are ALREADY on wide screens and their number is rapidly growing in just one widescreen direction. Do you like your customers or your older monitors more? :( Thanks,Dirk.(Anyway, awesome plane, but 4:3 aspect > bad decision).
