Hey Padre, i've been looking around for access and create a poll and I don't see a "how-to" here on Avsim.

Would your point my nose in the right direction?

Chas, in this forum only, start a new topic. On the right side, you'll see a button at the top that when clicked upon will allow you to build your poll questions.

 

Just follow your nose from there until you press the "Submit" button!

Hello FR Bill.   I was able to build my question's in the Poll tool to the right of my screen  But when i went to Preview my Poll questions and Thread, i didn't see the Poll in my Thread Preview,  is this normal? Do i just hit Post and it will appear

Gosh Elaine, I haven't checked out the Poll feature since 2009. As I recall though just Submit. I'm not sure you can "Preview" the poll.

 

Edit: No if you try to "Preview" the Poll, you will lose your poll entirely.

 

You also must type "something" in the message area or the system will prompt you that you must type "something", and worse...

 

...you will loose your poll.

1. So, type "something" in the message first.
2. Then, build your Poll
3. Submit the post
4. Now you may use the "Edit your poll" if you need to make changes or additions to your poll.

Ohhhh right ok,   i was afraid to post my Poll just in case there was nothing in it,  sure then i would look pure stupid  :smile:
