Realistic HUD for the T-45C Goshawk and awesome video :)

Featured Replies

Hi guys, after I released the new Realistic HUD for the F/A-18 a week ago, a lot of people requested to make it available for Dino Cattaneo's T-45C Goshawk. So this is done now, the HUD fits the T-45C perfectly :( I am waiting for Dino's permission to include the modified T-45 panel and aircraft config files in the HUD install package, and I'll post the download link here as soon as I get it!Meanwhile you can check out the demo video I made featuring the Goshawk with the new HUD, which includes some formation flying and carrier landing near San Francisco 8)

Here are are a couple of screenshots from the vid :( Enjoy :( J.R.

JRNice video. I have tried adding the carrier to my sim but I cant land on it. I either fall thru the deck or simply bounce off it. Do I need Acceleration for the carrier from Mr. Fernandez to worK? Any help is appreciated.Alex C

Thank you for the F-18 hud and I'm really looking forward to this one as well.

Hi Alex, you need Acceleration or SP2 for Javier's Nimitz to work. The Acceleration also has the F/A-18 Hornet, which is a great plane :( J.R.

Looking foward to being able to install this in my Goosehawklet us know when we can

Outstanding HUD I must say...Look forward to hearing you getting the OK from Dino...Thank you for all the time and hard work you put forward into this. CheersAri

Anytime Baby !

J.R., great shots, but they're all 1280 X 720 so they had to go. I'd like to see you post them again, though - 1024 X 768 max. The screenshot rules can be found in my signature.

Sure, no problem, I couldn't modify my original post, so I'll post them here :( T-45C_11.jpgT-45C_21.jpgT-45C_31.jpgT-45C_41.jpgT-45C_51.jpg

I am glad you found it, I was just about to ask what is "Francis X's Carrier" :( J.R.

Semi-related, does anyone know of a good sound set to replace the default F-18 ones used for the T-45? I really dislike how "weak" they sound. -Alex

Hi guys, the new HUD adapted to Dino's F-14D Tomcat can be downloaded here:http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?ID=730211thumb.jpg-thumb.jpgJ.R.
Super! Thanks again. Really makes the HUD more realistic with the ILS Bars. I find myself flying Dino's f-14 more then the IRIS one I bought. Now this clinches it.Gary

"Funny", when I try to download the file at Simviation it says file not found. Does somebody have the Filename so I can find it maybe here in the avsim Library? Thank you very much
