December 6, 200916 yr Hi,Wow, I never heard of this company before today. Guess I've been living under a rock. :( I've been to their web site but have not been able to find any information concerning their FMC, can someone direct me to this info if it exists. Will this be on-par with Level-D's 767 release (systems wise)? . I'm asking here, because I do not have forum access yet, waiting on an email confirmation.I would purchase Level-d's 757 but they have given up on FS2004/FS9. Trying to find a replacement company, "DO NOT SUGGEST Capt. Simulation", that company burned me and many others with empty promises on numerous fixes/updates dating back to their B-707. I would not give this company another penny of my hard earned cash!.Thanks Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck

December 6, 200916 yr Seems like they have been developing this for a while. It looks good I hope it delivers. The captain sim 757 and the PSS one just didnt live up to what I was hoping for. wish I could have that money back. I guess you live and learn. If they deliver a good product I will purchase but I will definitely wait for some reviews. Hers hoping for a good airplane that has been missing from MSFS. Andrew

Hers hoping for a good airplane that has been missing from MSFS.From what I can see so far it looks good.........I guess the flight dynamics is the next question. The sound package is great as well as the panels at this point. FS9 a BIG PLUS.......I am looking forward to this one.
December 6, 200916 yr For as far as I know, the aircraft is intended to be rather light for those that want it to be, but there is a more advanced mode on it too. The FMC will b e rather functional, but no way near Level-D's 767. The product was never intended to be a high fidelity 757 simulation, I'm afraid. I'll buy it regardless - I want to get rid of the CS757 once and for all, despite the fact that I don't hate it, I simply want an aircraft that does as it's told. December 6, 200916 yr For all intents and purposes, having followed the development for quite some time and having read the manual as well - this is a "medium-light" simulation package. It has most of the medium-level functions covered (i.e. a somewhat programmable FMC, LNAV, VNAV, etc.), but lacks advanced systems programming. I would think of it as being on par with the late PSS bird. The visual model otoh is quite stunning, probably even better than the CS one. We'll see soon enough. I'll be getting it as I'm really tired of the PSS/CS merge and the CS framerate raping visual model. December 6, 200916 yr First reports are very positive, though there seems to be a lack of functional VC switches. That's a pity, but even with that, it's probably better than the PSS and CS offerings. I have installed her succesfully but haven't flown her as yet. December 6, 200916 yr Nope, not better than PSS I'm afraid. PSS has many more functions modelled. I have done a very brief system scan and roughly maybe 20% of the overhead is modelled. Most switches and buttons are INOP. Looks like this is something that can be set up and ready to go in 5 minutes. Not that I'm complaining, I'm sure it will do the job it was designed for :) Cheers, Mack i7 950 @ 4Ghz :Apogee XT waterblock: EVGA X58 Classified :EK full-cover waterblock: Feser X-Changer 360: 3 x GTX 570 (Tri-SLI): EK full-cover waterblocks : Thermochill PA 120.2: 6GB Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz RAM (stock speeds) : FS9 & FSX @ 1920x1080 on Windows 7 x64
December 6, 200916 yr Commercial Member Well, depends on what you're looking for - probably doesn't have much compared to PSS in the way of advanced systems modeling (although there are some advanced ones simulated), lack of clickable VC switches - no more non-clickable than what is in the 2d panel that I've noticed. But - far superior external model, sounds, virtual cockpit, and textures overall, even better flight dynamics (from my limited flights - hand flying, so far anyways) than the aforementioned offerings.I personally consider it far superior to any other B757 simulated for FS so far, but again, that's my opinion and based off of what I look for more in an add-on (accuracy with textures, external model and panel/virtual cockpit, sounds and flight dynamics, not necessarily advanced systems - not always the case for me). :) Best Regards,Kyle SchurbDeveloper of Virtual Cockpits, Sceneries, and Liveries. December 6, 200916 yr Well, there is an enormous advantage this time round in the lack of simulated systems: you can do long haul flights. The problem I always had with the CS757, was that there was a lot to set up, and there was no way to save the panel state. So, after three hours, I'd be midflight, and I've to stop and go to bed or whatever. Next day, I'd have to reset all the buttons (from memory!) to continue the flight - that's simply not doable. I'm hoping this plane will be a lot easier in that respect... December 6, 200916 yr I know you and others have been burned by CS but I am moved to put the record straight. I bought the CS757 for FS9 for 9.99 Euros and it works perfectly with the available updates. I am not the only one saying this either by a long shot and my guess is that the Quality Wngs is a dumbed down addon whereas the CS757 is not. No competition and look at the price $45 for a 'lite' product . . . dear oh dear and people wonder why payware prices keep rising . . . when people are willing to pay this for a 'lite' product it's not surprising.
December 6, 200916 yr Yes, it is a lot of money and they didn't state that on their forum when they advertised it.Indeed and I have to pay 21% VAT.:(But I'm not gonna. Mike...

The CS757 not, so you pay extra for extra models. Plus, the CS757 seems to have quite some annoying bugs still left. The FSX version is a very nice aircraft to fly, yes, but the FS9 version less so in my opinion. As an aside, the FPS hit of CS products is bigger than you'd want it to be without much reason, too.
