December 6, 200916 yr Hi all,I'm not sure if the hifisim website is actually down, or just for me... I checked it on http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ to see if the website had crashed, but it showed that it was working. Seems my ASA program can't connect to the server to download weather, and I can't call up the hifisim.com website (it says "we've moved, you will be redirected.") Is anyone else having this problem? December 6, 200916 yr I get redirected (with the redirect page mentioned above) from http://hifisim.com to http://www2.hifisim.com, which appears to be an invalid hostname. If I type in the full www.hifisim.com, it redirects me to www2.hifisim.com with no intermediate page at all, and still get the invalid DNS error....No weather updates in the program, either, both servers are unreachable... Declared weather: FSX: ASN / FS9: ASE
December 6, 200916 yr Is anyone else having this problem?Down for me too. Doesn't appear to be a DNS issue, since nslookup returns this record:D:\>nslookup> www.hifisim.comName: www.hifisim.comAddresses: 8.15.7.107 63.251.179.17 65.200.200.47 Tracert shows the following: D:\>tracert 63.251.179.17Tracing route to 63.251.179.17 over a maximum of 30 hops 1 1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.1 2 * * * Request timed out. 3 19 ms 7 ms 9 ms 66.185.89.37 4 25 ms 26 ms 12 ms 64.71.241.93 5 97 ms 24 ms 25 ms 64.71.241.118 6 26 ms 25 ms 25 ms 162.97.119.153 7 64 ms 63 ms 69 ms INTERNAP.ae0.421.ar3.DEN2.gblx.net [64.209.103.54] 8 62 ms 62 ms 71 ms border8.ge3-1-bbnet1.den.pnap.net [216.52.40.13] 9 63 ms 89 ms 69 ms allmar-4.border8.den.pnap.net [66.151.163.98] 10 * * * Request timed out. December 6, 200916 yr Hi All,The DNS company was experiencing some technical issues today, but we were able to get a hold of them and everything should be up and running again. We are sorry for the brief interruption in our service.Thanks!
