2nd Tutorial

Peter,You are certainly right with the "Send to FSX" button - it will show up only when Fsx is running. That is not the problem. Please check, for example, the passenger/cargo loads. Can you get the ZFW as shown in page 5 of the new tutorial?ThanksEdmundo
hi all ok this i s what i have to do to to follow the tutorial which now since doing this steps have no problems entering in the correct figures as shown on page 5 in the fms etc and flight plans etc since just did an flight earlier. this may be different to each pc but for mine pc thses steps which i came accross by accident since i had the same problems as prev post1 load up fsx select md 11 and than select any airport u like than wait till it loads 2 once loaded go to ur load manager{ make sure both load manager and in the md11 option u have lbs selected } enter the details shown on page 5 than send to fsx3 go back to fsx than load the md11 advance tutorial default or which ever one u use than hopefully this will work.

Peter,OK, thanks. I ill try what you said. Basically, according to your information, one has to have the load manager and FSX opened simultaneously. What I did was, first open the load manager, select the required settings, and then start Fsx. Will give your suggestion a try and report back later.BestEdmundo

Let me do some research here guys...Question - does anyone who had the original version of the plane and patched up to 1.20 actually HAVE the correct load manager? I'm starting to think that somehow the patch version didn't include it...
Ryan.Yes. I HAVE the original version and it is PATCHED two times to version 1.20.055Also my LoadManager is working correctly and giving the exact figures as used in the Advanced Tutorial#1.Best Regards,Harry

You may open the load manager before starting FSX, once you get the right numbers in the load manager then you're good to go when saving the settings. On the other hand should you not see the numbers according the tutorial then starting FSX and loading the MD-11 will not make any difference...Markus

Josh,Could you please confirm whether you have the load manager sheet as that shown in the new tutorial?ThanksEdmundo

Josh,What is "F.O.C."?

Ok, everyone having the issue:Go to your PMDG folder within the FS9 or FSX root folder - take the MD11_LoadManager.exe file and move it to a different location (Desktop, temp folder in the FS root etc). Now rerun the 1.20.0055 patch file that's on the PMDG site. It should place the correct exe there. We've verified that the patch installer does in fact have the correct file. Also, look at the file you have right now and tell me what the date is. The correct ones are dated 3/21/2009.
