PMDG Business Jet

We need a PMDG-quality bizjet for FS! Nobody has ever done the king of business jets: the Gulfstream V.-John

If I recall correctly, Gulfstream has actively blocked any attempts to model their planes in FS. At any rate, we're not planning to do any business jets, sorry.

Bryan, you re definetly right for Gulfstream.no need for a biz there is already the next generation 737 there is BBJ options easier to be done ...phil

A business jet by PMDG would rack up MASSIVE sales. Let's face it, there is a mystique about the whole lifestyle implied by ownership of, or access to a corporate jet, that ultimate toy of the apallingly rich, so a highly detailed, eerily realistic PMDG rendition of any aircraft in that category would trigger a customer feeding frenzy, since most flight sim pilots would LEAP at a chance to master the flight deck of such a beast, particularly if she bears the PMDG logo . The Cessna Citation family are pretty much covered by EagleSoft and FeelThere, and as Ryan mentioned above, Gulfstream and Learjet suits evidently oppose the development of flight sim versions of their birds, but there has to be some other sleek, sexy modern bizjet that PMDG can secretly develop, and then spring on us one of these Xmases to come.....RegardsTony Selario

How about either a Falcon 900 or a Hawker 750?

Thoroughbreds both. Here's hoping that something of this nature is afoot behind the veil of secrecy at the PMDG "skunkworks".

Not as far as I know regarding Learjet. MSFS used it with Bombardier's blessing, so that's one huge step forward compared to Gulfstream, which has never liked the idea and has made it very clear that it's a no-go. Oh, how I'd kil...oops, I mean love to have a Learjet 45 developed by PMDG or any high quality company for that matter (Im a full scale LJ45 flight deck builder using highly modded default aircraft).

"Is this FSX or FS9, I can't tell anymore???"

Hardly. No one has yet to produce a quality Excel (or XLS/XLS+), CJ2,3,4, 650 (III), 680 (Sovereign), Encore(+), etc. The only Citations that I can think of that have been made for flightsim are the 750, 525, 510, and the 551.Scott

Soctt I would be delighted if it turned out I am actually wrong in presuming that Eaglesoft intends to lay claim over the entire Cessna business jet fleet, because that Cessna Sovereign happens to be my hands-down favourite corporate jet of all time, simply from the standpoint of jaw-dropping, boner-inducing beauty, and would thus be my dream selection for PMDG to develop, were they ever to venture into this very under-explored aviation genre. I sure hope The Oracle is listening to my prayers here. Ommmmm Cessna Sovereign Ommmmm Cessna Soveriegn..Tony Selario.

My dream would be a PMDG Falcon 2000EX or DX. I guess I'll have to keep dreaming though.Scott

Dassault is rumored to be "anti-flightsim" as well.

Why are some companies "anti-flightsim"? I don't understand.

They're probably just looking to protect their brand.Scott

I have nothing to add on that! I've been dreaming of a good and realistic business jet for FS for years now. I don't like the citations but I'm a huge fan of the Gulfstream. But since they are so restrictive there is still another jet which is almost as elegant: the Global Express...I'd love to see one of those two in my FS. I think I would fly them all the time...

The companies mentioned above aren't anti-sim specifically. But don't forget they build planes for individuals, often under the strictest secrecy and with prohibitive non-disclosure agreements.
