NEW PICTURES OF THE INCOMING F33

zfehr,Where did you see interior pre-production shots? I don't remember seeing any interior shots at all prior to yesterday. I'm real curious as to what the center and right side of the panel looks like - as in "Avionics package". What I have seen looks really nice.RayM
In one of the first postings on the upcoming F33 they were showing some 3d renderings which were probably not taken within FSX that showed the interior. The radios weren't shown but the dual yoke was visible as well as the knobs/switches on the panel as well as the instrument cutouts. They were not textured. I haven't taken the time to look for those pics again but I am sure we will be seeing something soon that is more current and pertinent to the completed product. I just made a mental note at the time regarding the dual yoke and thought I might bring it up in hopes of Fernando and Carenado agreeing that it would be a neat idea to have the single yoke with an animated throw over so it could be in either position. Not very many aircraft have such a feature making it a rare opportunity for FS modeling. I think it would be neat to include.

It does sound neat. Gotta remember, Carenado is touting ". . . .make a huge leap in the simulation area bringinga new experience to simmers." I think the throw over yoke would go a long way in making a huge leap and a new experience. So would some decent upgraded avionics or at least a method for us to upgrade without the 3d knobs sticking thru the face plates. We shall see, soon.Raym

I am delighted it is the "older" f33a as I owned a Debonair for 11 years which the earlier model the f33A came from. There are still lots out there flying (both f33 and Debs) as much more affordable than the latest and greatest and pretty much the same plane without the 5th and 6th seat an A36 has.I applaud Carenado for making the type of planes we often see at our local airport-and there are still huge areas missing from the FS world-like <ahem> a B55 Baron. I am really looking forward to this release!I ditto your request for RXP Integration-especially since it appears they are going 3d on the gauges.

You really think those are 3D Guages? I cannot tell if they are, I have the RealAIr Duke and I can deffently tell they are 3D gugaes from screenshots, but not with this. They defently need RXP WAAS XP in that cockpit.

I don't know if the gauges are 3d or not, probably not. But, they sure are big, bright, and clear and that is a big stp forward. I sure would like to get a peak at the Avionics stack - it could look like this79_BonanzaV35B_snD-10179_p-1.jpgNope, just dreaming, Carenado would never do anything like that.RayM

They don't look 3D, as in the dials and discs are modeled in 3d. What I have seen is 3d knobs - which may be a no-no - that would kill off adding 3rd party gauges. Unless they are making a custom bezel like RealAir and Lotus did....Anyway it looks like their normal gauges.... which aren't necessarily a bad thing. I think the simple gauges help with FPS - and that's important for me, since my system is olderb332d.jpg

As Ryan said-the knobs at least look 3d.

i dont think I'll buy it if they don't start doing 3D, like its 2010 and to not be doing anything in 3D is just boring to me. Even if its $15.

Hmmm... hadn't thought of letting that be a deciding factor as to whether I would buy it or not. Mmmmm... I think I'm gonna get it either way.
