Imaginesim KATL V2 for FSX is out

Featured Replies

Just saw this over at the Imaginesim site:

04 March 10 KATL V2 for FSX releasedNew and improved version available!Ready for download right now is our KATL Atlanta Version 2 for FSX. This new version brings many improvements over our previous version and addresses the performance issues some of you were experiencing. And what's more - it's free to existing FSX customers! See the KATL page for full information.
Haven't tried it yet. Don't know what performance issues they are talking about, but KATL is one that I had no issues with before. Hopefully the updates to others will fix the lights under Acceleration issues.

Performance wise, it works ok. However, Fly Tampa and FSDT are still on top of any other developer when it comes to performance. The only problem I see with KATL is the runway lights are a bit too bright to my taste but it's not a show stoper.

Lol, you guys are kidding right. This update has been available since March '10 when this was posted by the OP.Yes the lights in V2 dont look good and the FPS seem about the same as V1. You can always back up the original folders then run the update and if you dont like it just revert back to your original copy.
