May 11, 201016 yr Hi,Well, I just got my yoke back from PFC today. Turns out the new board they installed does not have a 15 pin connector, so I am unable to use my PFC throttle any more. It would of been nice if someone from PFC told me the new board no longer supports their in-house throttle. Close to $800.00 and I no longer have the ability to use my throttle, what a joke. Well, I did some B I T C Hing to Ivan at PFC, lets see what happens, although I'm not holding my breath.Wow, that really sucks.Mine's the opposite...yoke and rudders connect to the throttle quad, which in turn connects to the PC via RS-232 serial cable. So how do the current throttle quads connect then? So I guess the replacement board is USB?Someone has a 15pin one listed on ebay for $650 right now, no bids. I'd bid, but need USB not 15 pin..... John Skibo
May 11, 201016 yr Author Hi Bob,I have no idea how they connect, they must of made some serious changes to their hardware. Although Ivan from PFC promised me a phone call in regards to my situation, he has "NOT" called me back and I don't expect he ever will.I know Throttletek has a Boeing 767 throttle quad in the works, looks like I'll be purchasing that if-and-or when its released. As far as PFC, if I do not hear from Ivan about this problem I will never purchase from them again and I will encourage others to do the same. I will denounce this company at every opportunity. It's not about the money, Lord knows I throw money at my FlightSim like its water, its the principal. Wow, that really sucks.Mine's the opposite...yoke and rudders connect to the throttle quad, which in turn connects to the PC via RS-232 serial cable. So how do the current throttle quads connect then? CheersBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, COHi,If it's made by PFC and is one of their older (jetliner column yoke) models it will have both. The yoke connects to the comupter via USB port and the throttle connects to the yoke via 15 pin connector.Ouch! May 12, 201016 yr Hi Mike,Have you looked for a USB to game port cable. This might solve your problem.http://www.tvps.com/Products/-ECS-USB-to-1...S-DB15FUSB.aspxYou might try this site and see if this is what you need.As far as PFC is concerned I have been getting things from them for years. You might just try calling Ivan again, he may have lost the message. I have never had anything but great support from them. I am presently using their column yoke, rudder pedals at jet console and won't fly without them.Hope this helps.Tom

Keep in touch with Ivan, don't just brood waiting for him to call. They can easily get overloaded with work especially when they are doing shows. I met Mike at an I/ITSEC conference in Orlando some years ago, and he seemed a straight-shooter.CheersBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
