March 19, 201016 yr I saw an update posted on a forum post today, and I tried it. It was a RAR file and I didn't notice that. After unzipping it in WinZip, my total EZDOK program was wiped out. I can no longer access EZDOK! I have uninstalled all remnants of the program and tried to reinstall it without that dreaded update; however it doesn't appear anywhere in FSX, and when I click on the Config icon on my desktop, nothing happens. What could possibly have happened here?I went back to the program before the update, and it looks like I successfully installed it, but I can not get the program back into FSX! I'm really frustrated over this...because I was really enjoying EZCA. I hope someone reads this who can assist me so that I can start over again and see that ADDON in my menu. Thanks.Stan

But HOW do I delete those lines? Sorry, I can't figure it out. I see no Delete command, the Delete key doesn't do it, and the backspace key doesn't work as in notepad. What's the secret key combination to delete those specific lines?Stan

March 20, 201016 yr Author Thanks David...so simple when you know how to do it. It's done.StanStill having problems. Did everything as suggested. Downloaded updated product from Flight1, deleted what I thought were all traces of EZCA and reinstalled. My EZCA desktop wrench icon doesn't do anything when clicked. Seems FSX is blocking this program some how. It doesn't appear in the ADDON menu in FSX. I've tried everything to get this program back into FSX but nothing seems to work. If you have any other suggestions, I will listen and comply.Thanks.Stan
March 20, 201016 yr Commercial Member If the config tool does not run, then your EXE.XML file has invalid data in it.See my post in simforums. Thanks, Steve Halpern Flight One Software
March 22, 201016 yr Author I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to my post about my being unable to get EZdok working again. Well, finally everything is fine again.I'd also like to thank the unending emails to me from Marniftarr. After all was said and done, it was my Anti-virus program (BitDefender 2010) that was not allowing me to open the EZCA config.exe. I played with my EXE.XML file and did many edits to it. I surely thought something was corrupted.I've since deleted my BitDefender and downloaded Avira Antivirus. I'm even going to buy the Premium Edition. Who would have ever thought that those warnings about Anti-virus Programs interferring with programs were really so true? Well, take it from me...they are true. Thanks again everyone, and thanks Marniftarr for your continued help.Stan
